mugen 1.0 screen problems

i have a problem with my select screen, its all misaligned and about 1/4 of it shows up on the screen.
Help? I have my resolution and etc set at 640x480. at any higher the select screen is to magnified.

Sounds to me like you are using a Hi-res SP, they (since they are based on a hack) don't work in 1.0 without modification.

What SP are you trying?

PS. it only does it with the character select screen. everything else looks normal

Yeah, thats normally what happens with HR SPs on 1.0. Does your font size on the lifebars seem off? That usually happens too, providing its the original ones.

Well I just looked up the SP (by xed, right?) and its a WMPlus, so this error is going to happen unless you manually scale up the sprites in the sff (which I don't know if it works...anybody know?)

I also looked around and couldn't find any official 1.0 SP for it.
