What do you mean by the same movements? I think they move differently. However the button combinations for most of the characters might be very similar. This isn't your traditional fighting game where as Budokai 3 was more towards that (not saying it is traditional either). Tenkaichi IMO captures the spirit of what is DB and that is a huge reason why I like it. The battles on Tenkaichi are fast and fun and emulate the battles on the TV closer than the original Budokai series. Fighting in Budokai IMO felt.....limited, where as Tenkaichi it is open and free, you can do what you want to do. However I will admit that the Budokai series has more depth interms of fighting where as the Tenkaichi series, everyone basically here or there fights the same way. I don't mind that too much when it comes to this game cause again it isn't your traditional fighting game and battles look great and are fun to play. Basically I like it cause it is simple, fun, more open and I believe it captures the spirit of what kind of battles that were on the TV series. I can't wait for a PS3 version.

My problems with the series is that EVERY transformation counted as a character =\. I really hope that Battle Saiyin Armor Goku ISN'T a "character" but a different costume. I haven't played Tenkaichi 2 in awhile so I forgot if they did alternate costumes too that didn't count as a "character". I hope they include the Japanese music, that would be awsome of they did. They ALSO need to work on the cutscenes. The VERY 1st Budokai is still the best when it came to cutscenes and that was YEARS ago. I don't think they fixed it in this series from what I have seen, but if they do a true next gen version that the cut scenes will be MUCH better than what it is now.

I actually liked the separate characters. In Budokai 3 it pissed me off because I could only play as Gogeta SSJ4 for 5 seconds, then the fusion would be in null. As to where in BT you could play as SSJ4 Gogeta as long as you wanted with out downgrading. I also liked Goku's new spirit bomb in BT2 where you can get interrupted and still be able to do the spirit bomb, although one thing that pissed me off was that when you turned super saiyan you couldn't merge with the spirit bomb like in the first Broly movie. Although I think some outfits will remain as separate characters because of the saga time. Like Saiyan Saga Vegeta will likely be just that costume because his form after that is the oozaru ape, where as in the android saga he never uses the oozaru form so his next form is just SSJ1.

I loved how it B3 you could go SSJ1 and 2 (and 4)
with Vegeta and still have the scouter XD

almost all the out-fits they have from the show is in
minus Tien's casual out-fit (and Yamcha, although Chioatzu has his)
Vegeta's Pink-Badman shirt
and Krillen's white suit

other then that
it's all in
Even Vegeta's Mis-colored out-fit XD I loved that in BT1

i like the openess of the game. but every character feels the same. i hope they can refine the gameplay for the next-gen consoles.

Whoa are you seriuos i didn't know that when did she do this, i don't remeber seeing that episode or did i miss it anyways i wonder how she plays. It's cool to have some one or place to talk to about DBZ tenkaichi and stuff. Anyways i wish i could get more challengers in that game because i'm really good but no one plays.

Yes!! Yesterday I got a hold of the japanese version of the game!

It´s quite good inded...the background sometimes will even react to the energy of the battle(eg:if you use the giant energy ball with "kid majin buu",the background will change to a destroyed planet

)

They do and don't have cut-scenes
they've..for the most part worked in the lines from the show into the fights
with sub-titles
but for the more important parts like story events (Goku going SSJ FIRST TIME) (Special Beam Cannon on Raditz ECT)
will be done it sorts of Scenes
and will mix in with the gameplay

Well what I mean is the quality of the cut scenes. DBZ:B1 had quality cut scenes. The cut scenes looked so natural and fits. Look what I mean

Outside of it being cell-shaded, the 1st games cut scenes are so much better, it is not even funny. The scenes were using in game graphics too. I hoping with the new gen DBZ game next year, that we get to experience scenes like the 1st game again.
