Honestly, Learning Phoenix looks like it'll be more trouble than it's worth. He has his own distinct game mechanic, only diehard Ace Attorney fans will use him, the same ones who are buying the game just for him.

Damn! I laughed at some of Phoenix's quirky attacks. Really cool! But the dub sounds dull. He sounds soft in battle especially for his hyper.

BTW when I first looked at the title of the video of Phoenix Wright, I was shocked that it appeared and now I'm happy. I can't stop watching the trailer of Phoenix. I watched it 3 times so far. Thanks KenFan.

I've been hooked into Ace Attorney games for 2 months. I became new to playing it 2 months ago. And yeah, I sure look to playing Phoenix Wright.

Although I'd like to agree with you, his mechanic look easy to use, spam S+A to get evidence quickly while using assist, object, spam fingers, lvl 3 profit. But he has to sacrifice assist after assist to get evidence which leaves both him and the assist easy targets. not to mention he has a special to block attacks, the little girl, I forgot her name. I guess thats why they gave him the healing ability too when he finds food while searching for evidence, so he can keep looking for evidence. IMO he's gonna take Dark Pheonix's place everywhere.

I just meant to say that everyone is talking about how ridiculous is Phoenix Wright, a lawyer, joining a fighting game, but MvC2 was also a ridiculous game in it's own right when they included characters like Amingo and Servbot...and Norimaru...

PS. MvC3 Tournament tomorrow and I've been training on lagless, since I've had no Internet for a week. I got the timing down right now, so I hope to do way better than last time...

PSS. I'm still at work, but I just heard that I got Internet today. I won't play online until tomorrow though. I don't want to mess up the timing. Plus, the time training offline helped me learn some new combos with some of the characters...

REGARDING PHOENIX WRIGHT...

I think he will be the new Dante. Experts will use him just to humiliate people while looking good performing all of his numerous moves...

I hope I learn to use him...Amaterasu, Wesker, Phoenix Wright...I like it...

I'm learning Haggar and Sentinel right now and switching between Phoenix and Arthur just for kicks. I expect to be switching Haggar and Sentinel into my main Chun Li, SpiderMan, Hulk team soon too, so once all the release parties are done here you have to get online so you can show me what I'm doing wrong.

Playing against the CPU can crete some nasty habbits.

yup and thats why i consider him waste of a slot and a joke character. CRAPcom is banking hard on PW fans...and fanatics ..coffkenfancoff...

to buy it in droves. what majorly sucks is the jill and shuma issue. yet another low blow tactic to get more dairy just because. i want the game because fighting gangsta luxury so hard for a win i scratched my disk badly and only plays sometimes but never fully hrew and disk erro at any moment. this cost me rematches against him and acey. but i am now more hesitant to buy the real game i payed 60 for in mvc3 vanilla twist for 40 and try to shovel me what they already owed me! $\-/o$

I'm watching a recording from yesterday where seth shows what PW can do. OMG he is more cheap then I thought. He can get evidence in under 1 second, I reapeat 1 SECOND. But if he has wrong evidence he's gonna turn purple when he trys to use them as specials in courtroom mode. He can shoot all his evidence specials one after the other. For example he can shoot out two orbs projectiles similar to dantes that stay then fire, then he can shoot out three arrow projectiles. And that is from two evidence that he finds. one being the dagger and another being some type of ornement. Theirs more evidence types to be found. But he must be in his court mode. Also in his turnabout mode all his finger points wall bounce. Yeah and people said Dark Phoenix was cheap with the wall bounce. And he can combo with them. And he can combo into his lvl3 that hits anywhere. He's looks so cheap
