Recently I was contacted by R@ce45 about his interest in updating one of my earlier mugen works, Hulk 2099. He did a great job in beefing up the sounds, FX, Special Attacks and Hyper Attacks. This most recent update brings us all a step closer to full Marvel 2099 fighting mayhem.

This should be nice. R@CE makes some of the best mvc patches for characters I've seen. I wasn't expecting him to do Hulk 2099 though. I can't wait to try him out.

anyway...a friend and were just talking about hulk 2099 a few days ago...we both agreed the sprites were sick...but his moving and overall handling wasnt as good..and look what i see now...an update for hulk 2099

first off...the sound effects are intense..his combo systems and handling is serious right now. im also liking the extra specials and hypers. this character packs a serious punch.

not to go off topic...but this Sentry and Captain Mar-vell in my eyes turned out to be your best characters yet Acey..excellent work..

hulk 2099s rage mode plus his ability to do an infinite barrage of gamma charges even when the opponents hits the ground makes him seriously overpowered in many ways. and then theres the fact that he can cancel his hypers with a gamma charge and hit the oppoent plenty enough to kill hi on infinite him in te air before he touches the ground and then when he touches the ground more gamma charge fury and even if you change the command to charge can be spam the same way

R@ce and I are discussing the best ways to deal with some "overpowered issues". I think now r@ce brought a lot more of the feeling I wanted Hulk2099 to have, it'll just be addressing anything that makes him significantly superior to his opponents in EoH.

he is a great character to play (with awesome updates), but he absolutely needs a different stance! than he would be perfect!

Ok, now the R@CE is back and now i can speak on my behalf on this udpate of the hulk

Thanks for your feedback, it is very much appreciated, in the read me that was included you will see that i even mentioned the gamm charge spamming.... that can be fixed an now that i have my internet back on i will make sure to get things fixed for a quick update to the hulk 2099

As far as the rage mode goes, that is what it is meant for, it is a level 3 super move, and when he is in that mode he is pretty much very powerful, but however, i see where you are coming from so i will go inside hulk and change the value on his damage while in that mode....

In the next update i will a even more variations to the gammacharge (special move one)


Acey and also me worked hard on this character so keep in mind the hulk is only gonna get better and better...

Yeah, I should post vids of the 2099 screenpack I was working on but it seems a lot of the 2009 creators just don't have a strong interest in following through. Maybe they just don't want to get picked on for releasing characters?

okay, i forgot to reply here, i love what you (acey) and race did. He is fins to play or to face. I don t know the character, never read a 2099 book, even if i bouGht 20 of them for 1 dollar.
