thank you twon. finally someone who makes some sense. life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. its my right to live how i want to live and be able to pursue hapiness in the form of enjoying things i work hard for. and in my opinion anyone who argues that targeting a group because of bad examples in the minority of that group and forcing anyone who works to get a better living condition is spitting on the declaration of independance. now im not some big fancy city lawyer or even a flag waving conservative. but i dont think anyone should be spitting on the declaration of independance and my uncontested right to buy a solid gold toilet seat if i do the work it takes to afford one. whether thats being a doctor, lawyer, scientist, or even a musician.

McCain is not some hero that champions your ideals, and neither were the Busch Family. Arguing on that basis doesnt work, and the bad examples arent the minority in most peoples minds. Plenty of people tonight who make over $250K voted for Obama.

your speaking in a reference of idealogy, you think that a person wont purposefully record lower earnings to avoid paying taxes? i dont know about you but if i could make 25000 as a single male no family, why should i try to better my station in life and earn more if it means getting taxed? its a incentive to mediocrity

A 6 billion dollar tax cut for Hugo Chavez, and EXXON! The A-hole who made 15 billion profit last quarter, while people cant afford to drive to work at 5 bucks a gallon. Screw Busch, McCain became the White Wale. Real people cant afford to drive.

I am a single issue voter for the simple fact that 4 years you can not make policy change in the oval office. you cant if your planning on doing multiple issue changes in the united states. it takes 2 terms in office just to be able to firmly establish what you want to get down as a solitary goal. george bush senior established  and passed the torch for of the changes bill clinton was able to make. and so when you inherit the white house as a president you often inherit the dreams and unfulfilled goals the preceeding president set out to be completed after they left office

I fundementally disagree with the entire Republican party. To be honest I have no interest in going back and forth. I will never vote for a guy giving Hugo Chavez a tax cut, in the midst of this energy crisis. This isnt just "anybody" it's the man driving gas prices up well beyond demand, and that is killing the world, and outweighs those 5% (what did Spock say?). The currupt Republican regime is over, and its time to give the Democrats a shot. The Clinton era was good to me

And Im sorry but I work in Accounting for a Medical company, and McCains Medical plan was terrible, I wont debate that joke. I cant believe anyone would.

Anyways, I think Obama won because you can tell he's over all a good guy.
McCain just looks like he's scheming. Half the time when McCain smiles it just looks like he's forcing it.

I think the reason why Obama had way more voters then Kerry though is because the times weren't well in the last 8 years. Like I was a kid when Bush first ran, and I was 16 when Bush ran second, I know a lot of my friends from school are the same age as me, but due to age, we couldn't vote. Once we all hit 18, we registered and kicked ye olde to the curve.
