I was trying not to ask but the sprites and animations are looking too flavaful so i gotta request if possible.

Is it possible to request a Ryo & Terry midnight bliss and shock look? Hit me in a pm if ya can ...

Probably won't happen for either of them right now, since spriter is pretty busy with his own things (and he's already got a big ol' list to hammer away first at that x_x). Sorry ^^;

Ah, neato. Never realized that they reused a lot of the frames, but that tends to happen when you almost reuse the same sprites for 50 million ninjas I suppose...thanks again~ That'll at least take care of the MK3 shocks/freeze (though whether or not I'll stick freeze into the site is up in the air at this point).

Yes, this is completely different than the one that Anti-COSUMO was working on (dunno if he'll ever finish his or not...), and I have to say, I'm very impressed by Ryoga's work. Oh, and you may notice one of the sprites with a pink background still. The reason? Why yes...I actually DID do some spriting for the first time in like 3 years...and truth be told, I don't think it's TERRIBLE, but it doesn't feel like it flows right. I never was good at animations (I never TRIED with moving parts...I think I did with ONE character's Midnight Bliss, but I don't even remember whose now). So that's that...Unless anyone wants to fix up my mess of a sprite...

Whether or not I attempt to sprite again is another question...considering I get very angry at myself at various things @_@;; That sprite took about an hour or so to do as well, which wasn't TERRIBLY long, but it felt like forever ;_;

Expect some more goodies down the road for Midnight Blisses now too! Still waiting on Aionios to get his shock done too, so there's that to look forward to too!

(My hand looks really bad it seems...blaaaah! Oh well...I gave it my best shot so that's what I got for ya...).

Also to make a notice, NO REQUESTS WILL BE MADE FOR NOW!!! This is due to well...Aionios being very busy with stuff as well as the massive list I've given him, and I don't want to overload anyone else working on this (and myself don't sprite either...you can obviously tell that from the sprite above). So please, withhold any requests you have for the project if you will. Thank you.

wow! i actually love those sprites of her! thats cool good work you done. dang i wish that she could been a full character one day in the full grown midnight bliss version as well.

. now that would be awesome too. I do like

of the bliss sprites i have seen and always wished at times they was real ones to be played.

Keep in mind, the only sprite I did was the one with the pink background. Everything else was done by Ryoga. He did that so that I would actually do some spriting (and it worked for some reason...I don't know why!). It's odd...I WAS motivated to do Eliza's Midnight Bliss but never did, then Ryoga does this for me and I do a little spriting. I don't know man....just don't know!

Though probably won't be spriting that much because I easily get flustered at myself so there's that...

So yeah, I was alerted to these today by someone on DeviantArt that these Persona 4 Arena sprites were just uploaded. Surprising I must say...so I'm going to share them here. This is two-fold of course...one is to share them of course, because wow if the sprites aren't gorgeous. The second? Well...this is to see if anyone won't take up a challenge. What's the challenge? The challenge is to take one of the characters and "update" their shock sprites. That's it! This is something similar to what I proposed with BlazBlue too but....

(I totally am not hoping that someone "updates" Yukiko's or Labrys' at all...Yukiko's is totally not my favorite out of the bunch and I am totally not requesting this out of anyone what are you talking about. No, I cannot pay for this because I am poor, but would if I could...maybe...)

So yeah...enjoy the new sprites, and I hope to see someone take up the challenge. It'll be both good for the project and good for you as well, since this is going to probably be a good challenge to try, eh?

To liven things up, Tiki by UJI was updated. One of the things updated in her was a new shock. However, this isn't from THIS project, but an original one. Not that -I'M- complaining, it still looks rather nice. So let's have a comparison between em eh? First will be Aionios', then UJI's. I'll put these in Spoilers because UJI's does contain some...material.

Which one do YOU like better? It's really hard to say. Both are really detailed I think and fit well. @_@;

Also, still looking for people willing to take up some of my own challenges for this project as well~

Yes actually, Aionios did do shock sprites for Psylocke a long time ago. Not exactly up to part to his current works, but they're still there.

And on that note, for anyone interested in a "special" challenge (which it seems nobody wants to do with this project. Phooey!), here's the new special challenge involving Midnight Bliss. It involves chibis. Yes, chibis. However, it's a simple challenge really: Make an actual-sized version of said chibi for their Midnight Bliss. That's all.

So it would be like this. You see this sprite here?

Your goal therefore would be to make an actual-sized version of it, SNK or Capcom styled mostly (whichever works best I suppose...). It's that simple! In fact, this was done a couple times in MUGEN actually...and it would probably be the easiest method of doing a Midnight Bliss for these types of characters without having to go with their actual sprite size~

Though who will take up this challenge? I do not know! The bare minimum would be the stand and grab sprite, but if you WANT to try the entire animation, go for it~ Hope to get some interested people in this~

The link in the first post now properly links to the page. I don't know HOW long that was like that, but I forgot I moved my HTML files to PHP quite some time ago due to how I handle CSS on my site (due to not wanting to change menus all the time whenever I add something new, I did it this way...).

And now a new shock by....Cheeselord? Yup, someone new to the project, and his first shock for the entire thing! Reminds me of when Aionios first started, which isn't a bad thing~

Hope to see more from him, and see how he improves~ Next one by him I'm assuming will be Waribashi's Madoka Kaname, so stay tuned! And soonish, they'll be a new pack release from the project! Hurray! I don't even remember when the last release was!!!

Feel free to give him criticisms and comments so that he may improve! I'll pass it on to him if he does not see them.

I personally haven't sprited anything for this project in forever. The only ones doing Midnight Blisses are Ryoga (who seems to have completely vanished again...) and Sky79 (who is busy with other things), and right now the only ones doing shocks are Aionios (ALSO busy...) and Cheeselord (who has just started out with spriting). So yeah...unfortunately, all of the spriters -I- have are pretty busy with their own stuff. Unless someone else wants to take it up for ya, I'mma have to decline sadly. Sorry ;_;
