Arcana Heart Released!

  The Hi Res 2D fighter for PS2 is here!  I pre ordered mine for the 8th but the Gamestop manager told me there were "manufacturer problems" (is this true?) and so it didn't come out until Friday the 11th.

Doujin=Fan-made. It can be on any platform, but seeing as how the Japan loves the ps2, many doujin games get ported to the system. (Most popular example is Melty Blood)

It is fan made in the sense that it was independently created. While most doujin stuff is based on some anime, manga, whatever, there are also many highly original works that are also doujin. Thus, Arcana Heart falls into the category of "Original Doujin". An even better example of non-derivative doujin is Excel Saga.

tl;dr Doujin refers to stuff that's self-published. It doesn't always have to be original, contrary to what many people think.

Mildred is unbelievably cheap. Seriously, ALPHA-152 from DOA4 has nothing on Mildred.
I'm almost convinced Mildred could take on Nightmare SSJ3.

Other then insanely cheap Mildred, it's a good game.

To be honest, it's an okay game. It's not that great, but it's not that bad either. For me, I just don't like how it simplified all of those previously hard-to-do commands that other games had. Basically, it pulled a Nintendo and made everything easier for casuals. (Then again, I play fighting games competitively, so I may not be the best one to ask )

Pretty much what Animugen said, if you like lolis, fighting games, and parodies then Arcana Heart is the right game for you.

@Animugen--I can never get Mildred into the corner to do that. I usually just end up spamming an infinite (or something that looks like it) until I can use a special. Thank god for chip damage . (and I usually kill her within 30 sec. too .)

I never thought you could beat her that way.I had a hard as hell time beating her until I learned how to corner rape my opponents.Now that I know how to do that I do it to all of my friends when we play and boy don't they get angry when I corner rape them.And yeah when my meter's filled I'll use a special too.
