So we know Nintendo and Sony was making console able to play both SNES cartridges and discs and we know Nintendo canceled the deal. Few days ago someone called by DanDiebold posted those photos on Imgur: http://imgur.com/a/Ll9kS

My dad worked for a company, apparently one of the guys he used to work with, I think his name was Olaf, used to work at Nintendo and when my dad's company went bankrupt, my dad found it in a box of 'junk' he was supposed to throw out.

If this thing is a real deal it could be the only prototype that survived. What do you think about this, guys?

I've been reading through "Console Wars", a book about that era and Olaf was the name of the people from Sony who partnered with Nintendo and then Sega and then they went to do their own thing. I don't recall if the book mentioned how far Sony got with Nintendo, developing such a console. If it's real, that's a very neat and rare find. I doubt anyone on Nintendo's side would ever confirm its authenticity. Maybe a Sony person would.

That's the thing you'd previously imagine only in alternative universe to exist. I wonder where our gaming would be if deal wasn't broken and Sony Playstation hadn't appeared. Not only gaming, it would be major impact on hi-tech, butterfly effect, whole world could be different...
