Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 alternative final...

i ahve just bought H2 and the DVD have another final different from the teathrical release... but i wasn't aware and i don't have any source where they explain this... the great thing about this ending is Mike saying to Loomis "Die!!"

Meh, wasn't all that impressed with the film. I'm kinda hoping for a 3rd reboot since Rob Zombie is done.

Rob zombies adaptation to Halloween was one of the worse i have ever seen.

The thought of Michael walking around hallucinating a white horse and his dead mother was hilarious.

That was my issue with it too. That and Michael stabbing people repeatedly after death. Michael is methodical, and a powerhouse. It just seemed silly to me.

Rob re-inventing the franchise was problematic at best because it created a 3rd version of the story.

So now you have the origional franchise part 1-2, 4-6

Then theres H20-Resurrection reboot that eliminated parts 4-6

Then the Rob Zombie Re-boot.

I know the franchise owners will never retire Michael so where he goes next is going to be complex. I think they should just continue on a storyline that is ambigious to which Halloween Universe it is so it could fit with any of the 3. The other option would be to re-make 4-6 with another director since Zombie is done.

Personally I would like to see the origional series followed up, and have michael continue to hunt his nephew, and Tommy Doyle. I don't see it happening though.

Just because Michael grew up trashy and horrible childhood would not make him evil. That's way the original is better.
