man i feel the same way. The companies gotta listen more. Instead they rehash the same crap or everything is first person or 3rd person shooters...back in the day we had a hella wide variety of games that were coming out constantly...which made playing video games a bit more magnetic to a degree as far as choice goes for the year. Its maybe 2 games per year that seem to be the sh*t overall. back in the day there was a ton it seemed like.

But thats just my opinion. They say "oh no body buys fighting games as much as before"....I wonder why??? (sarcasm)
Theres not enough substance in fighting games most of the time now. But the clock is trying to turn back though with SF4. AKSYS with their blazblue and Capcom also with their TvsC. But the side scrolling beat em up hasnt even been givin much of a chance and like i said the best beat em ive played in ages was this game...

Now if A new Final Fight could be done (playwise) like that but look like street fighter 4 (like i said) then that would be the sh*T!


But we do have another beat em up comin and thats the new Fist of the northstar game ...

The demand isnt high for games like this cuz not much is comin out to show fans that this beat em up fighting genre is worth buying :??


Double dragon set it off back then...so in this Age we need that type of game that will set it off for sidescrollin beat em ups....

yea like ive stated in other threads there is a market for it but i think if capcom does bring beat em up back back i think captain commando would have the greater mass appeal because the characters to me stand out more and are more likeable by kids and casuals were as final fight could find its place as a darker more mature title

yeh for the kids they can have it downloable i feel. maybe a remix face lift of Captain commando.
Final Fight i think can make a good comeback. it would attract the oldschool and new school if developed right this time
