Sound ripping

Was curious if anybody knows about any software out there that will allow me to rip sounds from a Playstation 1 game & convert em into something like WAV or Mp3, etc. I've taken a look at this site

and I'm not terribly certain about the tools & such because I've never used em. Is anybody experienced in doing this? I'm trying to get dialog for a character here and I need in converting sounds from a game
