stage image help

ok this is by far a problem i have many have said stop wasting your time whit images that have color lost on them to make to stages anime stages r rare to find release
not many base their work on them just video game rip and originals

is there a procram i can use that can help me restore a image i use for a stage look whit no color lost on it to show up on it

example i try photoshop but that just a bit i notice in change
