The most recent Soul Calibur IV trailer seems to indicate that besides Star Wars characters and enormous boobs, the game also has destructible body armor. Meaning? That it appears throttling opponents hard enough causes armor to fly off. Wonder if it will be possible to knock Vader's helmet off or if this is just going to your typical disrobe-female-fighters kinda thing. Honestly, we're pulling for naked Yoda.

Personally I like both games (especially Fighting Vipers) but for some reason I wish they kept the combat and minus the armor breaks. I play SC, VF, DOA, and other series to get away from the Fighting Vipers armor break stuff.

Oh well. SC4 will still be great, can't wait to play as Yoda.

The difference between Fighting Vipers and Soul Calibur is a big one: SC has GOOD physics XD It is for a newer system, so thats obvious, but in Fighting Vipers it looks they are fighting in slow motion or something. You get kicked and float gently to the ground X3

I just figured out the true reason why they would never give destructible clothing for SF characters! It would look too much like Dragon Ball Z! xD Lots of Muscly men, shooting energy blasts at other men, and then their clothes get ripped apart, but their menly bodies stay the same....then they go and train with lots of men! xD

hahahaha, yeah....that all makes sense, don't need it turning into DBZ. I mean a Hadoken is a nasty damage dealing projectile so it would have to tear up clothing pretty good. I can see this as a visible damage thing they are adding to SC4, it's cool, but I wonder how far they plan on taking this. I'm fine with the girls getting all torn up, but the guys!?  I guess it wouldn't be fair though to just have the girls get torn up...gotta keep things equal and balanced. I want to knock Vaders helmet off...seeing his cape all tattered up would look cool though.

When you make a character in almost any Teen or above game, they are just wearing boxers, until you add clothing onto them. Guys didn't have a problem making male characters then did they, so I don't see it bothering many people going in reverse.....

The SF chars have had their clothes knocked off before. You guys don't remember what happened in the Street Fighter 'II movie when Ken's Hadoken backfired on him? His own fireball creamed him and tore half his clothes off.
