ssj 5 gogeta!! itll be over for ssj4 broli.  ssj4 broli could still beat ssj 5 goku even tho it will be very close, but when the fusion happens in ssj5 itll be way over for broli

but Broly WAS NOT SSJ
HE WAS
USSJ3 (there are 3 diffrent stages, think it like this, "Super Vegeta" is USSJ2 and Trunks with them muscles was USSJ3)
and with some plot devices
he kept his speed
therefore
SSJ Goku would have a chance against SSJ Broly
also...
if Broly was to go SSJ2
he would not have the huge Muscles
and would be even faster (without them hindering his movement at all now)

are the upper levels beyond Super Sayian but below SSJ2

USSJ1 = SSJ without the plain white-yellow hair (the golden)
USSJ2 = increased Muscle size, with slight speed loss
USSJ3 = Huge muscle size increase but huge loss of speed
It was stated that Trunks at USSJ3 exceeded Perfect Cell's(before the exploded himself) Power but was WAY to slow to fight him properly
