Child's Play Movie Series Revamped for 2011??

Ok, I guess it's time to talk about this movie sense it seems to be "In Progress." of people have voiced their opinion about Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky as being a comedy/horror and I'm one of those people. Back when Bride of Chucky had just made it to the big screen I was like WTH is this??? So in 2011 the rumored Chucky series will get revamped back to it's roots, which is kind of funny sense the people coming back to do the movie made the last 2 (Bride and Seed of Chucky).

My suggestion for a revamp of the story is NOT to go back and out do the original Child's Play title. Which is a classic and will only prove to be second best.

Here's my idea: (Child's Play 4) go back and take care of the original cast. Like Andy's mom whose in a mental institution, the Cop, Tyler, Kyle and Finally Andy in one bloody revenage.

or you know.... we could just pray for them to not reboot it. I mean horror flick reboots never end well.

Halloween 1 sucked, it was just a modernized version of the original film.
Halloween 2 sucked, all the victims were jerks that deserved a knifing, and the whole Michaels mom's ghost thing made absolutely no sense.

Because of the H movies by Rob Zombie I didn't even bother to check out the new Freddy remake but I heard it was horrible because Freddy didn't have his iconic over the top humor and well his face looks like one of those James Camerons Avatar aliens mixed with Freddy.

Honestly, I think they need to stop doing remakes/reboots of horror franchises and get things over with.

Hollywood has run out of ideas and they want to capitalize with remakes of classic movies..

Like Piranhas was an awesome B-movie-ish classic and now its new and 3D!! Blah...

I for one can't wait to see this remake because i love horror movies.

I mean  it can't be as bad as seed of chucky right?

Chucky has always scared me, ever since I was a kid. I'd rather they NOT reboot it. I don't want the nightmarish daydreams to come back. D:

Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks the new Halloween movies sucked. Rob Zombie my butt. ;(

To the people who didn't like the new portrayel of Freddy: He was never intended to be funny. Ever. Wes Craven's original Freddy was a sick, twisted, humorless allegory of fear. He was death and nightmares in their purest forms. It wasn't until crap-tastic sequals that he developed a comedic persona. He always had a bit of black humor, but he never really played it up.
