Partial truthes, The US wants the strongest economy and when the economy is at it's best the majority of the citizens will be fairly well off (how many Televisions are in your house?) A big part of this is using the school system to teach the youth how they should behave and act in the society. We need as many people employed and moving on to science based careers as possible. To say that "creativity must be halted" maybe be going on in your high school, but that sure didn't happen in mine where creativity abounded.

There is one allowed creativity only: the one who serves the system´s agenda. As far as i can remember all schools, in wich all my life i have been, have been HELL. No creativity were allowed, and rewarded, rather the opposite, punished. f**k*** indoctrination system wich only rewarded regurgitation .....
