Title: Anybody excited about Guitar Hero 3?
Post by: SpacemanHardy on August 18, 2007, 12:58:28 AM
I know I sure am!!!  They finally got Metallica for this one.  Not to mention master tracks from Muse, Tenacious D, Living Color, Rolling Stones, Smashing Pumpkins, Slayer, etc.

Whoever else is pumped for the next GH, throw up your horns!!!

A lot of people have been torn between Rock Band and GH3.  Personally, I say pick up both if you can.  Rock Band is adding the drums and vocals, while GH3 is introducing boss battles, additions to the two player vs. mode, and letting you play as real-life guitar players like Slash.  Both games are good, but in my opinion, GH3 just looks and sounds better as a game.  Plus, as someone who doesn't have a lot of friends who are into music games, Rock Band's multiplayer seems a little bit unnecessary.

And yes, GH3 will be available for PS2.

I played GH2 on the 360 and found it pretty hard. I guess I just have to get used to it... My friend picked it up though for the first time and dominated expert mode :o

Sorry, but no "MoP".  They do have "One", though, which is also awesome.
