My main Fighter - Iron Man. Since he's one of the more versetile combat characters to use.
Cyclops or Cable - There is the need for the Projectile/Beam Whore xD.
Commando - Yep... his anti Air assist is good. and does lots of damage too.

That and it looks like he felt it was over once it was down to only Cyclops, he dropped his guard like a bum, alot..

when i play mvc2 really seriously like if it was my last day on earth. i only lost twice. by a asain guy and this 50 yr old black guy and they both used that same team. it was the type of thing where they kept on getting me on air combos w/ storm and magneto and with setinal they kept on assisting where i literally didnt touch the ground and they kept on doing the same moves over and over.
also the team of iron man with that mummy from darkstalkers are tough, i dont know why tho... lol
i like watching the match servbot vs juggernaut...thats always funny
