Title: G.I. Joe Action Figures for Christmas
Post by: Acey on February 09, 2015, 03:42:40 PM
I know Christmas is long gone but I was waiting to get Sgt. Slaughter up here before I wanted to share the photo.

So, for Christmas my better half made me a G.I. Joe shelf from scratch. We also had my parents send over my old Joes that we were keeping in their garage (circa 2007). This is a picture of the finished product, hanging in my office at work.

Yo Joe!

Yeah, Alpine (2008) costs over $100.00 but I found a recipe to make my own Alpine.  So I'll need to build Alpine, build Dial Tone and buy Quick Kick. I'm also replacing the 2nd Duke (with the American Flag behind the G.I. Joe logo) with Captain America.

I was always more of a transformers guy, and in my current(well, not so current due to lack to funds) toy collecting, 6-inch scale Marvel/anime stuff.

But this shelf is pretty sweet in every sense of the word

Cool, that came out really nice.  Serpentor was always one of my favorites.
I don't have my old GI-Joe's anymore, but I could do a cool shelf with He-man!

Nice!

I have been doing Marvel Legends for years but my little boy has now inherited all of those... So he has 100+ 6" Marvel Characters along with all of the build-a-figures. Those are harder to get on a shelf.

Good call Demonkai, I'm missing a BAT and Scrap Iron. I might have to go from 10 to each row to 11 to each row.
