While this looks pretty cool, I can't say I'm a fan of 3D Fighters, they aren't bad or anything, just not my thing.

Lando loves 3d fighters and this I def would play! I always wondered if they would make a pokemon actual fighting game like this and so they have now. Big question for me is can they evolve into the higher forms while in battle or and size of the cast. Pokemon roster is enormous!  @-)

Hopefully this will only feature fighting type Pokémon.

This looks like it'd be fun, Tekken + Pokemon sounds really unique and is definitely something that would be good towards the series, what with having Pokemon reps featured in the Smash Bros. series. Machamp kind of already reminds me of a Zangief type character, or just a grappler in general, but otherwise I can't wait to see who else is going to be in.

As far as the idea of having just fighting types, that's kinda sorta bland IMO, as there's other characters that could fit just fine, they'd just have to be the right size and have a variety of implementable moves. Usually in the Pokemon spin-off games, Mewtwo would be one of the last few characters to fight, so it might not be much a surprise to see him in the game.

If they keep only within the humanoid Pokémon, then it's fine.

I agree with you. But can you imagine a Pokemon game without Pikachu?

I can imagine a Pokemon Game without Pikachu even if it's a fan free Game. I am talking about Pokemon Type Wild.

The smallsized characters are indeed decent to include. If they wen't for two titles. I would make one for fighter type Pokemon's and one for small sized ones. (That is not happening).

This Game looks very Great. I hope to see characters like Primeape and Scyther in this. Especially Hawlucha. He could be a heroic fighter like Tatsunoko's Gatchaman (Ken The Eagle). That would be Excellent.

Actually, seeing as this game seems to take nods from Tekken without really being a Tekken-styled POKéMON, I guess all the POKéMON, that will be playable in this game, actually will be based on Tekken characters.
Hint: If one of the POKéMON goes DORYAA, then this POKéMON is based on Heihachi. :D

Now this is a neat idea, and there's lots of good fighting type poke'mon to choose from to, from all 6 generations

My top 3 would be Hawlucha, Heracross, and Gallade:
