New project Jolly Ol' Saint Nicholas. Plans are to release him at Christmas.

if not ... maybe you can do a special attack with his bag, or call incrustarle reindeer horns for the enemy.

Thanks gamers! Halfway threw with the walk animations. I really hate doing walk animations, so it should be all fun after I finish those up.

* Present Toss.
* Stag Stampede hyper.

That stage intro sounds excellent and adding it to the to-do list! The present toss is already on the list. I'll think about the stampede idea, though I think I have a better idea for the reindeer and sled. The other intros i'm considering are make it snow for first round of the match (white Christmas) and Santa takes a swig of whiskey from a flask (drunken mall Santa). For the win pose I only have one idea so far where Santa pulls out his naughty list and marks the opponent off (Naughty and Nice list). Keep the ideas coming

I'll add a bag attack of some type. About your reindeer idea. Do you mean place reindeer horns on the enemy?

Taking ideas huh? I got a ton myself for ole saint nick but I give a few preliminary ones to ya.
Block animation......blocks with huge candy cane
Intro idea.... comes on screen shout ho ho ho while riding in the sled and jumps off as sled with reindeer fly off screen.

Projectile 1.....throws cookies
Projectile 2.....thrown glass of milk
Projectile 3....throws plate like a killer disk and hit enemy and smal squirt of blood spurts when makes connects unblocked, just breaks if blocked.

Air projectile...if any..throws candy canes or presents in boxes...nicely wrapped ones. Lol

Ehh I was thinkin for a super or some kind of trap move where hit ties you with christmas lights...kinda like spiderman style but xmas lights instead. Or...can do an mk scorpion move where he throws the xmans lights like a spear and pulls you to him and says " come to santa! " when it connects unblocked. That might easy to edit into that.

Got way more but let others have some fun with ideas too...I dont want too greedy...i want to get xmas presents this year so I have to be a good Hobo King Lando. Lol.

I like those ideas but I may vary how they work. Eat milk and cookies could be a taunt and if completed will throw the plate at enemy for little damage. I'm going to use the candy cane as a melee launcher to knock opponents into air. The X-Mas lights i'll use as a super throw similar to Bridie from SF Alpha. Santa's got some muscle to his mass so he should be strong enough to do this type of throw.

Def the birdie style x mas lights super should be great and especially he got the santa muscle for it.  :cool

 Gots to wonder down the line in ideas ifmthe lil helper elves can come into play somehow. Lol . Cool stuff man.

Reminds me of Clay Fighter 63 1/3 (well, at least the Sculptor's Cut--never played the original) and its character, Sumo Santa.  Maybe there can be inspiration from those moves (his Belly Launcher, Cane Pain, that move where he grabs his belly and beats you with it--interesting, albeit sometimes weird, moves to get inspiration from).  Or, this one could be as is and if somebody does Sumo Santa, then one could have fun pitting the two against each other.

But I can think there can be a Sack Whack, a move (likely a super/hyper) where he has the reindeer and sleigh trample the opponent, and so on.  And, of course, a win pose where he writes the opponent's name on the naughty list.

He showers kiddies with presents, so he's good all the way. Though he will break into your house to deliver them so you might need to call the cops for a home invasion.

Started working on a hyper attack based on Rob Liefeld's Santa The Barbarian. I created a whole new smart pal for the barbarian sprites. The only colors linked are the beard, boots and flesh, so you should be able to get some cool outfits from these Barbarian sprites. Also DJ_HannibalRoyce will be coding Santa.

again looking really cool

since your base is chang i believe you could use the sprites were he is swinging his ball and chain and make him swing a toy sack or a string of christmas lights with that big big knot of lights at the end that always seems to happen when you pull them out and make some hit sparks for that like chimoru's Jubiless fire works

that vid was amusing lol

with regards to the santa, considering his supposed to be a chubby guy in a red suit he looks like his got a lot of muscle on his arms and im sure mrs santa claus isn't holding out on him ;)

special moves wise, I'd recommend doing something with elves....

having a elf striker system where he / she comes in and attacks either stuning the target or knocking them into the air.
super move :-
have elfs drag santa's toy sack out and start throwing multiple toys at the target
have santa sitting in his sleigh and grabs the target, taking them up into the air then droping them onto the floor.
have santa open his toy's sack and sucking the target into it (sounds a little wrong I know)
