When a a character is against a wall and you attack them you get pushed back and it's really annoying for combo moves since you only hit a few times. How do you turn this off?
EDIT: it apparently also pushes the other player away even when im not at a wall... why???

That has to do with the ground and corner push codes in the characters HIT DEF thats doing the move. the attack thats hitting the enemy is coded a certain way so it does that. depending on what the author did you have to adjust a few things in that state so it doesnt do that as much or at all period.
Anyway if you want to educate yourself more on that stuff and other things then look into this old thread of his here

....youll see what you want to change towards the bottom of the thread

TBH you shouldn't change that. It's a pretty standard fighting game mechanic and prevents any number of infinites. You may find it annoying, you'll find it more annoying when the AI just button mashes you to death because it's not being pushed back enough.
It's easy enough to change, and feel free to do so, but it's a better idea not to.
