Title: I Want to Contribute!!!!
Post by: MIND5LAYER on August 07, 2013, 05:44:34 PM: Hello, im kinda new but not really, ive played and enjoyed all your hard work and beautiful creations very much!!

I would love to Contribute some ideas i have. i dont know much but im willing to learn and ive taken 3 yrs animation in high school and a little graphics too. if now I have found favor in all of your eyes please direct me to where i may find the resources to learn step by step I want to learn everything needed to create a character from idea to mugen but I am going to be specializing in A.I. development. THANK YOU all who reply

Post by: ELECTRO on August 08, 2013, 12:56:07 PM: The more contributors the better. My advice is to download two characters that interest you and slowly learn to edit them. For example if you wanted to try your hand at an animation, then open up the character in Fighter Factory and try to alter an existing punch to a new punch animation etc... I wouldn't try to learn everything all at once, just pick one thing you want to accomplish and see if you can do it. Read the tutorials, Docs and watch YouTube videos on the subject and you'll be contributing in no time. Good luck!

-First like Electro said, experiment with characters you find the are the best for you as far as gameplay and AI coding goes that interest you

-Watch videos based on creating. You should look into B.C. (aka Bovery) Fighter factory creation youtube video tutorials. He usually stops here from time to time.

-Theres a good 3 methods of coding AI from what ive seen but you just have to start with the best one you can understand better with the best results. I started with the Winane Method. theres others though.

Good luck to your progress. feel free to ask questions in this section. usually the experienced coders will step in and answer your questions
