Title: Future Foundation Spiderman WIP by Shadman & Tank402
Post by: C.R.O.M. - 有且只有一個 on April 22, 2013, 05:48:28 AM: Well folks I figure I got to contribute somehow and I would like to make (with help) the Fantastic Four Variation of Spider-man. This what I have so far and below that is my reference image.

I want to try and give him some fantastic four helpers he will be custom voiced by me and I doubt this will done this year

Sorry, I really hate helpers... And in fact, it would be a cooler idea to have them in an hyper move more than individual helpers.

Just saying :-??...

I mean, why not just make Avengers or JLA the character.? Way I see it, if you really gotta resort to strikers, you've ran out of ideas for your character. There's only a few exceptions I see to this.

1) Possibly for an intro/win pose or a level 3 hyper. EXCEPT if the character is mugenized already or close to being released.

2) If it's something that goes with the character that's not a real individual character by themselves. My main example for this would be Harley's hyenas.

Beyond that, gets annoying and old once you see it a few times. That's just my two cents on the matter, though.

But as well with what Rage said, i say go with making him far from other spider men. give a new style stance that would suit spidey for starters. if can switch up some of his basics. add a punch or a kick in there thats different from the regular ole spider man base your using. maybe new jump animation too. all kinds of possibilities bro. Play with the ideas big time. it can be done. Def do some more work too on your base sprite to nail the look really good :thumbsup: ::salute::

on the striker thing.

if your going for strikers then def gonna have to find someway to include them that spidey wont heavily depend on them. you gonna want spidey to stand on his own and use the strikers as nifty characters for a special reason. Lets say, make Invisible girl or Mr fantatsic trap kinda characters. or one a trap and other a an attack.
problem i think people have with regular strikers is Ai can spam those and they just be popping out all the time. I have had characters with strikers in the past and most times , thats what they do. I would tho savor them for Hyper strikers. But if you do them as regular striker moves.. gonna have to find a good code balance for them so they wont be all spamming in on hard mode. lol :-??

Not really, its a way to include some chars that you won't do as a full char. Not a "ran out of ideas".

Post by: Arkady on April 22, 2013, 02:06:43 PM: I agree with o with the strikers, i like to see them if they are truly useful to the story of the character, my example is Lockheed, he wouldn't be made into a full character, but as shadowcats side kick helper a good choice
as for the fantastic four, not a real good choice, but herbie, or someone else you couldn't really see as a full blown character would work, but i wouldn't make one for the sake of it, it would need to be part of the characters story for my tastes, ive seen storm with 5 strikers (gold team) but i would have prefered to see just someone like forge instead since they all already exist
but that's just my taste in strikers

Tank402 is giving me a hand as well. And as far as coding goes I dont have a clue about that right now. I have discussed some new hyper possibilities with people and have my mind set on one. I will be going through and removing the webbing first and then doing sprites. Now his appearance wont match the pictures exactly.

I recently searched a whole list of different Spider-man suit/ universe stuff. I also recently edited Spider-man to make him look like Spider-man Noir. Good luck (again)!
