Unlockable character submissions thread.
Hey there folks , well not gonna go into my traditional long winded essay speech so i will continue the small talk here for what we need for the final entries to the project .
rules for submissions:
submission limit is 5 characters per person posting - hero or villian, male or female.
you cannot submit any character that is already part of the roster characters anime. show/movie.
no Gundams_ we have something already planned for Gundam gameplay involved.
No Naruto characters - we have that covered as well with 2 already in ( i wont say who but i will name one - Rock Lee - me and a cool homie i hope will work with me on him when time cause we both done Rock Lee sprites looks. )
No chibi characters
No hentai anime characters ( like bible black type stuff for example)
No God tier characters ( like DBZ characters- but might have something planned for a certain one for the game if we can squeeze him in . )
No pokemon, digimon, card captors and such anything of those types of shows. lol
i would like to have fighter types,magic users fighter types, power user types, weapon fighters , either Male or Female ( hero or villian)
the characters should be a character that has not been mugenized.
as well looking forward to some old school characters to be submitted .
if as well , can please add a photo of the character/s your submitting, (Pics in a spoiler ) the name of the anime they are from and what type of fighter the character is. This helps with the resources big time since i will and as well other will be looking to utilize some moves from these characters and can see how they fight and and use their skills /abilities.
please think well thought out into your submissions. I would say as well, take a look at the main roster list and get an idea of who would you like to see fight against these people and would fit in with the cast.
this is for everyone to submit. even Crom bro's can. :thumbsup:

i had to google that guy...uhh not really what have in mind for this froggy tiny guy to be in this kind of fighting gamne project . he not really a bare bones die hard fighter type. the anime from what i have read is very tame and borders more along the line of a cute comedy if anything else. lol. good for a jokey character i guess but not really what i am looking for in the project.
YUJIRO HANMA!!!....definetly the right type as well. a cool bro was asking me about Grapplers in the project and yeah this guy is cool crazy. lol

well to be on point....yes it does. its same way Fatal Fury anime movies work. Fatal fury started as a game but then went anime. But as still those characters have been fully mugenized since they were already game characters. Like Terry but Terry and Jamin are in the project but Jamin is strictly from anime source. Samurai showdown and many other fighting games got anime love . Touhou as well. I dont think i would be as much interested in making Touhou style characters as well we already have them in mugen and what asking for is characters not mugenized yet.

Takashi Komuro and Saeko Busujima- pretty good submissions to represent High School of the Dead anime./ i think there are a couple others as well but these are good.
Shigure Kosaka from Mightiest Desciple Kenichi cant be a full playable character cause Kenichi himself is already part of the main roster and she will be in some ways part of the character Kenichi. Apachi is Kenichi hyper striker soley but may feature something cool with all his masters. I keep a huge notebook on all things ABR written down for concepts and actual stuff gotten and to be done. ;)
Trini bro i am almost clueless to who the character is. i heard of all those creators and have had characters they made while back but ....i am stumped on who mostly cause i may not ever had the same one character they all did versions of. lol . but since whoever the character is , She has been mugenized 4 times by different people each so no need to have her added as what i am looking for is characters from animes that have never been done before. i am still curious as to who she is. ~X( lol

i guess is better to say i want submissions for characters now that are strictly anime like. No marvel, no company stock franchise characters we already have in mugen.
the other submissions made that i found are more a solid fit to exactly what i am talking bout. lol

How about Yoko Readman of Read or Die? She changes/uses paper into weapons. Maybe she might be magic or power fighter type.
There is a female villain from a Manga comic of Read or Die. She is Fire Inc. She has a fire power. Volume 1 is the only Manga book I have though. Sorry, I don't have the shot yet but I'll take a shot of my Manga just to show you how she looks like. I really believe she's in red and black outfit and probably light skinned. I'm not sure how those creators describe her colors exactly.

once the submission time is over ( which will be awhile cause i want very good submnissions) me and some others will go through all submit even from other sites and i will lay out the all the ones for the final poll. more than likely it will be alot to conisder to choose from. got alot of great ones from MFG and CC. Got some good ones here so far too. So its gonna be some tough choices when voting time. thats gonna be good. :thumbsup: >:D

Of course, CvS style would be neat, but I finally want some GOOD Tasofro styled Higurashi chars. And Seravy doesn't seem to want to make the rest of the cast...

ok cool. the girl actually from the pic looks a lil like Tsukuimi from Sekirei anime which she is in the main roster as well of other 2 sekirei.
Eve is in ABR but as Adam Blades Hyper striker.

I'd much prefer Jessie, I can't find a video, but when she captured Seviper, she actually fought him by herself, and she is a skilled Pokémon trainer also, and her Pokémon are cool.

In all honest i can´t see a PKM Trainer with is PKMs battling an "Action" anime char.
Its not only the pokémon, Jessie really fought with her own fists to catch seviper, also she could use some Team Rocket robots.

Anyway.. I would like to suggest Hayate from Hayate the combat butler. the show's probably not "hardcore" or whatever but I'm gonna say it anyway.
Hayate Ayasaki is a butler. which means he's super human, he can shoot gusts of wind and jump 20+ feet in the air, he can also ride a bicycle at speeds exceeding 100 KM/H and has fought an defeated both giant robots and demons, he is also an expert with a sword and has superhuman strength.

I cant quote cause I don't know how to do those on this tablet... but it says...you cannot submit a character that is from/part of any of the rosters anime shows/movies. Basically. Can't ask for huey cause he already in it as bushido brown hyper striker or vicious from cowboy bebop cause spike is in representing the show...but who knos he might be in as secret spike suboss, but main thing is to get new characters in not from any of the already rosters shows.
Whiplash.....zuuma is still in. He has been in sincee around the begining of the project and is in the intro.unless ya bro cancels wanting to work on him then he still in.,

Ok i knew i was on the right path as to the anime character. it was actually pretty funny like you said it was lol .
nice sprite of the guy Hayate as well. i am actually using that base for a couple characters but made different in looks . still if a base was to be chosen to make him this one might be able to work with as well since you and the fellas made him look pretty cool. :thumbsup:

well not really, its doable to make her and that would call for some cool editing. alot. lol but to be honest, i am not so sure i would wanna include this anime since there are characters already being ripped from the source to add into mugen. and we have one or 2 already in mugen. i have already played the game on pc and might dl the 360 version as well. it has more characters. There are some great submissions that may overshadow it i think . but again still just on the fence with it in consideration. Feb 14th is the deadline so i got some time to see whats what.

^^(PM)^ exactly! this but one of the 2 i am doing Myself . this was already done by me last year in sprite base and will be going through more animations being made as i can keep coming up with more ideas for moves like all finishing basics , specials and supers. there are others but not by me and already getting done. a couple are custom scratch made and will take quite awhile or however long the creators take to make them in sprites. one actually will be converted to our style in size and gameplay mechanics so new sprites will be made to coincide with what template moves are required.
secret characters wont be revealed since they are separate from the unlockables which people get to vote on... not the secret ones.
about to post up the poll in a few.
