Thanks, seems everyone loves my Symbiote Spidey. Glad you like the colors I use because I'm actually colorblind which makes doing what I do very difficult, but I work around that handicap.

Thanks, but I wouldn't say I have it mastered. It's mostly what I have gathered so far about the style and my own interpretation of CPS3. I'm moving more toward my own style of CPS3, but I still hope to improve and learn more as I go along. The coloring is the hardest part for me as I'm colorblind so getting them to work well and knowing which ones to use can be quite a trial.

Decided to do another CPS3 Lilith, and with that it served as my new avatar and sig combo :thumbsup:
I'm starting to think she would make for a nice Mugen character, in fact a Darkstalkers 4 (CPS3 styled) project would be pretty keen. But Lilith herself is a future possibility ;)

Morrigan is also my favorite DS character next to Lei-Lei. Then again I love the whole cast as I'm a huge fan of Darkstalkers and it's my most favorite fighting game series ever.
I usually keep what sprites or art I do next a secret as to leave it as a surprise. That way people don't know what will be coming, I prefer not to spoil folks. But good ole Jon/Gallon is most definitely on my "to do" list so don't worry he will be coming eventually. I plan on doing many characters and not just Darkstalkers, but I always wanted to do the DS cast in CPS3 style.

Here is a collection of Light Sabers, Beam Sabers etc that I did quite a while ago. I have these up in Insignia Dimensions, but as templates to use as Userbars in their old state. I decided to update them and redid the color and shading and some small design edits and thought these are pretty neat sprites on their own to share.
I think I will try to design more of these, I did all these from scratch without any reference...winging it and having fun with Saber design ideas. Obviously some of them are based on Sabers from Star Wars and even Zero's Z-Saber, but I gave those my own feel so they weren't exact copies.

Are you referring to my characters on the front page or the new Sabers I posted....definitely not the sabers, god knows how that would work :P
But if you mean any of my other character sprites, then no not at this time. I just do sprites, I'm not a Mugen creator. Though my Morrigan and Lilith are a possibility in some way. I also have a future project in mind, but it's just an idea in my head for now.

Insignia Pixels is now revived and back open, not sure how often I will do sprites again as it's something I don't like taking focus away from more important things. Regardless, if I make anything it will be posted here.

no problem man. wow now if somehow some folks got together and made a new marvel game just doing in this style of sprites and clean looking...would be an awesome game indeed with these style characters sprites. thats alot of work but still wow. good job man. the whole day was worth it indeed. take some advil/bayer something for that headache too bro. lol ::salute::

Thanks, I already took some Advil, but I tend to get migraines and then to complicate matters I have noisy neighbors that won't shut up. I was just trying to take my mind off things doing this sprite.
I agree a CPS3 Marvel game would be grand and I like doing these as a sort of "what if" thing. If I had the time and patience I'd do full sprite sets and work on a project. But I love doing these every so often just for fun ;)

I'm going to take a little break and then maybe work on her next week. I'm happy to hear you got inspired by my sprite work, it's always an honor to inspire others. CPS3 isn't always easy and when I first gave it a try, my stuff sucked. I get better with each sprite I do and learn new things each time. It takes a lot of practice and time to sit down and get a handle of how CPS3 works. Though my CPS3 isn't accurate by any means, I just sort of make my own style out of it.

most def take that break man. we all need one sometimes. lol oh yeah after seeing this rogue i gotten more curious to try it since i become a more competent spriter. I am not anywhere the level as alot of folks who been doing it longer or have greater skill than myself but Lando is not scared! \-/o..unless its KOF style then i pass. @^@ lol. But i am looking forward to trying CPS3 style and someday get to my end goal in spriting which is HR/Hd style spriting. I have had 3 good teachers to get me on the path in Nestor, Li Kun and manic and all good friends. Alot of practice man . CVS style sprites i love to work with and even tho i can do cvs accurate now , i like adding my own touch into it to get my stuff to where i have to while having a flux between cvs and cvs ish. I just lately been toying around with MVc style sprites and so this will be a new testing ground for me. i will find some tuts around to see how to handle this CPS3 style sprites so i make a single edit i can get mine to turn out as clean and good as what you have done bro. ::salute:: keep up the great art work man.

It's good to hear you have made improvements and that you want to continue to improve. Keep that motivation up and always move forward. I never found any CPS3 tutorials except a color guide done by !E/Eternaga which can be found over at Sinhra. That helps a lot in my case since I'm colorblind and all, otherwise I have had to just wing it and figure it out on my own using SFIII and Warzard as reference.
