Title: Graduation!
Post by: Acey on April 27, 2012, 11:56:34 AM
I'm sitting here in with the class of 2012 listening to a group of names being read off. It's official, I have my graduate degree (MBA) and just like the birth of my kids you are all here to share the moment with me. My advice, if I can do all I have done in mugen while in school, and working full time while raising a family then anyone can. Imagine what I can do now without anymore homework!

Thanks all!

@ Lando - life is really busy, I figure that's the main reason why Manolo beats us up online, because we have the kids to keep us away from training.

@ Axkeeper - The Simpsons is about PhD students, and is absoutely accrurate. Bachelors = 4 years, Masters = 2 more years, PhD = even 2 more years. Only people who want to teach at Universities and do research become PhDs. The Grad commerical is sadly pretty true, but it's more true for the sciences rather than the business school.

lol who you tellin Acey! that is surely true and manolo aint whippin on me no more! nope i quit! lol.  My daughter in high school and trust me, thats keepin me busy with just keeping her mind on track with all she wants to do gettin ready for college and wanting to go to japan for college at that!  #:-S - my son is doing well and wants to play baseball as a career but he going into computers and might want to be a teacher in engineering as his major backup.

thats something we all have to have when we do college to get our degrees. must have a backup plan! i became a dewatering technician as a backup to my goals in graphic arts and architecture. not only is it harder to find jobs as a dewatering technician in my are but to travel to farther places for that position is more demanding to get the job.  I have to get my degree in GA and get my BA in architecture before i can solidify what i wanna do with those degrees and seek out specific employment for those or go into business myself.  its all about the choices you make bro Axkeeper and how you apply yourself and if your married and with kids you have to consider your options to uprooting from where you at , your partner at and all before making the choice to go for those jobs that may be farther from where you live to relocate . its not easy when your a parent and the partneers well being is stationed there. trust me , i know. lol
