I'll take pill 1-4.

Music is never as good as when you were younger but the fact of the matter is that there are always great musicians making great music. You'll hear "the Beatles were great" or "Led Zepplin was great" or "kids these days don't have the same sense of purpose as the grunge/alt rock revolution of the 1990s" or "Rappers just sample old music" or all kind of junk to justify how music was great years ago but it isn't now, and all of that is bunk.

I wonder what would happen if you took historys gratest composers and give them modern day music making technology.
Would it still come out classical or would they get into trance or dubstep?

Hmmm well Rage, The Lando doesnt like this generations music like that. I favor the old school stuff from old school hip hop ( mnot to be affiliated with todays RAP) but i do have a few choice songs i like and just for the beat only. I the lando am a fan of heavy metal, love awesome fast solo electric guitar strings ( anime Needless style ) the 70's era disco music, motown era , jazz and definetly R&B of old and new. But am secretly a huge fan of classical music from beethoven and bach among variuous others.

alot of todays music ( depending on the artists) have no soulor not as deep, same tired meanings and no out there stuff to really grab you by your mandibles and make you wanna clench and lock on. very few artists and groups have grabbed my attention but the ones that do ...forever stay.  ::salute:: ::salute::

examples. an old school 90 rap joint. and a later 80's fav.
