It could work like Ryo's Ko-oh Ken from KoF 96 onwards. That would make more sense, plus he wouldn't look like yet another shotoclone.You could make it look more like a large hand instead of a ball, too. Considering how religious the shaolin are, I doubt that once he was kicked out of the temple, he stopped doing his Buddhist rituals, so if you want to go in more that sort of direction with the moves, that would be perfect. You know, maybe some heacy hits that give him a pre-strike super-armor (considering the physical training they put their bodies through, I think it would be perfect)

he is not an ex-shaolin. Shorinji is the japanese word for Shaolin. Shorinjin Kempo is a martial art which were "stolen" from the shaolin monks from China during the Japanese invasion. Its the base for the Okinawa-te, which is the base for the Karate. I have some friends which fights Shorinjin.
I think you could add a move like we added on our Sean Matsuda for Spec Ops, its a repetitive move (like fei-long rekkaken). You can download it at my site.
