Today I'm releasing a demo version of the game.

SFA4 Demo V1.0 Readme

This game is a fan based non profit mugen project. The version you are playing is beta 1.0 and
the character provided isn't 100% completed (AI Evil Ryu Mode not complete) but is fully playable. There will be future updates to this demo that will
include more characters as the project progresses. For now I will only provide Ryu just so you
get a taste of how the engine plays. Also the point of this demo is to gain feedback and see
what areas I can improve in. Plus if I need to change anything gameplay wise I'd have more work
to do if I release this demo with 5 characters it would mean I'd have to adapt them all. So please
no complaining about just having 1 character.

PLEASE NOTE:
The screenpack/Lifebars are unfinished and are still a WIP. Expect character intro's and endings
to be in future versions as well as pause menus and other features!

ADDIIONAL NOTES: Ryu's AI is almost complete but needs work
the AI doesn't use Ryu's Rage 2 as Evil Ryu will
need a whole new AI so that's something for the
future, however the AI does use Rage 1 and all Ryu's
other moves too.. for a more challenging fight
increase the difficulty.

There are certain things in the AI that do need improving
which I know about but feel free to leave feedback and opinions
anyway.

Also most of his standing basics have accurate clsns the rest need reworking as they aren't accurate.
Though it's not really much of a problem and doesn't affect his gameplay.

Man, there's alot of mugen stuff to do. It's a shame I so grounded into Minecraft ATM.

No the character is part of the full game only. He will also not function properly without the screenpack

Found an issue.

Ryu's Hadoken Fire ball version doesn't go through a regular hadoken. Which is wrong, because its supposed to hit 3 times. So if it collided with a regular hakoken it should go through that and hit the opponent 2 times instead of 3. A direct hit should hit with the Fire hadoken should hit 3 times. It just bothers me that his fireball hadoken can be stopped with a normal hadoken. Which isn't SFA accurate.


Thats it for now..... I Love the game though. You did an excellent job. This should be the standard for any future Mugen Fullgame releases.

I'm just going by the source. In sfa3 they cancel each other and only hit once.

That video with Guy was so F-ing RAW!  :o Cannot wait.

Please never cancel or stop working on this project until it is 100% finished. This is far too great a fullgame to be left unfinished.

btw, what music will you use for your project? will it be from SFA 3 or do you have others in mind?

Everything right now is still a WIP so I'm still working that bit out. My sound guy lost contact with me so it's likely I'll "recruit" a team member for music.
