This guy made some nice SNK style Tekken sprites, anyone think he'd be willing to allow them to be used in a char?

They are nowhere near finished numbers wise, but they are high quality.

The person who's working on the Tekken sprites is msmalik681 (it's M.S. as in MSPaint, not miss as in Miss Paint :D). Also, if you go to Lavalit, his demo is under his sig. You can download it. ;) It only has Kazuya as a playable though. He's still working on Bryan and Asuka. So many sprites to work on.

I think you're mentioning the CVS styled Kazuya by Sdon Thalon. But this guy does originally sprite his Kazuya anyway.

Yeah, the Tekken characters look good with SNK style, and I like them.

There's also Silviazeroshift's that was made entirely from scratch, which is my personal favorite, though Sdon's is also good.

hum, Samurai Shodown sprites clashes very much with the SNK style

Its not the size, its the shading style. Snk graphics are very strong, you need to use some other sprites.
One game which the sprites fits is Galaxy Fight.
