Post by: V-NiX on November 14, 2010, 05:33:34 AM
Well, I was working on these since a few weeks ago, I just recently got in the mood of finishing these. The design is different from the ones I'm using at the moment, its more.. Umm.. A bit KoF-like & a bit of my style.

& Like most of my lifebars, it supports custom portraits, details about the custom portraits in the readme.

You could try, but these bars are primarily for WinMUGEN+
If its designing a lifebar, sure I might be able to do it, but if its coding a  lifebar.. Its a different story ^_^"

lolz, true. But thats just the lifebars, there are people who still insist on the screenpack =P

On another note, first post updated with a patch to make it work on MUGEN 1.0
But remember, your system.def's localcoord must be 320,240

I think its pretty cool.

I was going to use it as my default lifebar, until two things got my attention:

- Turns (with default portraits) waste too much space. for me, the small portraits could be resized and could go above the bar, not bellow (like the custom ones). This would make the screen more cleaner.

- The round anim is too big, its huge. It covers almost the whole screen.
You could make something smaller, of with some trans.

Many SP creators forget this: the main stars are the chars, not the blinkind bars, the omfg graphics or anything else.

Just my opinion.

Thanks for ur opinions Ilu

- I tried what you suggested in the past, but the portraits just looked too small for my preference

- I know its huge but I guess I was going for something like that

IMO, BlazBlue had many OMFG graphics and blinking bars, yet it became popular

These are awesome, but the ones in your previous screen shots i liked more. The one that had the gear design in them.
