im just now reading my boy Scott Adkins will be playing as sub Zero! =D>
Like i said although they changed some of the story around i think this movies best traits will be Fighting.
Production and Rated R :). Im no Fan boy but im a huge Fan of Martial arts Flicks and this may be FINALLY the MK

even in Scott adkins movie biography it says hes playing as sub zero.

I think he was Sub-Zero in the short film. I haven't read anything that suggests the movie going forward, which is a damn shame.
so what about the sub zero bit and scott adkins? is that bogus too? lol and what he just had the mask on of sub zero for a split second?? I mean i did read a long while about that Name MK rebirth before that video even surfaced. so i just wanna know whats actually real? and as far as the "Fan" part, what super important fan got those actors to be in that short clip? i read that chick u see in the flick headed that whole set up (and yes i do know it was a pitch)
but that "fan" part needs to be cleared up..im seeing this all over the net now :-??

The fan is Kevin Tancharoen, an up-and-coming director. He directed the film and a few actors and actress (Jeri Ryan - the girl you are speaking of) helped out. Of course, it did cost a good chunk of change. "Fan-made" can still be done professionally; all it really means is that it's not official. On to the next part, you might be confused with Mortal Kombat: Devastation, which has been rumored for a while now and has yet to touch production status. Rebirth wasn't talked about at all; it was a surprise to everyone, even Ed Boon.

Thanks for clearin that up Twon...and yeh i saw that name devastation on the tube but i didnt look at the video. prolly was fan made anyway 8=|. Blah i guess when i did see that "Rebirth" title that long while ago i guess it was meant for that video we all seen..

If you look at the plot of the original MK movie actually, the only thing that happened in the movie that happened the game were most of the characters origins (ie sonya working with Jax to find Kano, Liu Kang being affiliated with shaolin monks, Raiden being a lightning God, etc) and Liu Kang beating Shang Tsung. Liu Kang killing Sub Zero was bs (in the game it was Scorpion), the character that was the most different in the first movie was Kitana, being a slave of Shang Tsung instead of Shao Kahn and then there's the fact that she remembers everything and never fights alongside Mileena.
MK Annihilation did suck but the fight scene between Scorpion and Sub-Zero was kind of fun.

yeh like undisputed 2. the first was in theaters and the 2nd went straight to dvd. BUT it was of course hands down way hotter than the first with wesley snipes

lol what? The Joker thing should be the other way around. Dark Knights Joker is way more accurate then the animated series/1989 Batman Joker.
