Reptile is awesome, only one problem with him. That move where he vomits, just totally slows down the xbox. But that is a problem with the xbox not having enough memory. Is there a way I can just eliminate that move entirely?

It's not just the xbox Talbain, it does that with me too on the computer. I may not have a super computer, but a GB of ram should be more then enough for mugen.
I think it might have to do with the amount of projectiles on screen at once, maybe if they all have their own clsn boxes and such....

That is interesting. Characters that I know are going to be good, I just put right on the xbox & never try on the computer at all. So I just assumed that it was the xbox, since dragon claw used to do similar until I added the 1gb swap file. I just figured reptile had something really crazy going on that the 1 gb swap file couldn't fix. Apparently he does, since your comp can't even handle him. I just need to eliminate that move out of the character entirely. Any help finding that code would be appreciated

A code optimization technique may fix it, but if the projectile itself has either huge .pcx's then that is the problem. Let me look and see what I can tell.

Isn't it the ownpal = 1 in the code that slows down Mugen's frame rate?  I noticed this on Mvc2 Tronne Bonne by LegendaryMX, that might be the cause.

Actually I was right guys, it was the amount of coded projectiles on screen at once, imagine like 10 hadokens on screen at once and that's what the game was thinking.
I managed to omit a few, but still make it a wide spread attack, try this special file (Make sure to DELETE your old one first, not over write)

If it still lags for you, then this will take out the move entirely, no big deal but at least you don't have to worry about accidental mass lag:

Thanx works, I will try this out & get back to you in the morning about it.

Tried it out & it still slowed down. I'll just use the cns that gets rid of the move entirely
