Me neither. /:O Looks like we'll get this version of Ryu in the next EOH.
That said, I assume the pants are used to differientiate Ryu from the rest of the shotoclones, right? ;*))

My most favorite Mugen Ryu I have ever played hands down. I still love the pallet change to his pants.

Having given him a run through:
His attack timing is very tempermental, have to be very percise with timing blows you land in order to combo correctly. This is more with his standing combo as the crouching combos are alot smoother. The combo speed on the previous Ryu was better.
His overhead smash (F + MP) should be able to be done up close as well and his lung kick (F - MK) has nothing it can combo into, which makes him a rather open target if used. I'd take a note from GGN's Ryu with that move. On his, if F + MK, connects, pressing MK again chains into another kick before hitting the ground, thus allowng for a small but effective combo.
That's all I got one the - side, everything else is nice.

Feedback:
- All the intro's are misaligned.
- holding D+ HP needs to hit the character during the whole animation (The hitboxes are only on the last sprite of the animation)
- He feels a bit slower than he was in MvC2 (or am I wrong?)
- The smoke (dust/sand) in his Shoryuken attack (and Hyper) is a bit misaligned
I'm in a bit of a rush now, So I can't test it more :P
Maybe I will test him tomorrow some more.
I love the color separation idea Scar :)

:o AWESOME!!! I wasn't expecting this today at all. If this Ryu plays anything like your Violent Ken MvC, then I'm calling in sick for work today, and playing some mugen. Your Violent Ken is frickin outstanding, and I can't wait to try out his partner. Thanks for this awesome release. Keep on rockin. :w00t:

Thanks for the feedback, Im still fixing some things but when im done I will reupload it.
As for the pants, I like the blue but again their only palletes..
Feel free to use whatever colors you guys want to use..

MvC2 Ryu! Not MvC Ryu because the superbg and supers are from MvC2.

I can go ahead and name it MVC 3,4,5,6 but its still going to be mvc style..

Awesome Scar, I have been looking foreward to this ever since you said you were updating Ryu and Ken. Nice smooth gameplay, the two tone gi is going play with my head for a while on this but great job none the less.

Don't forget, it's not just the two parts of the gi but this Ryu also have different palettes for the hair and gloves too. All of that on top of superb game play makes this Ryu unique and spectacular.

The gameplay is superb there is no doubt about that. I just have to get used to seeing him with the multi colored gi/ gloves.

instead of making a video its easier to tell u. ryu feels very stiff in combos that involve his basics. its very hard to combo on the ground with him. when he hits his opponent he has next to non existent hit push (when hit in an opponent ur supposed to get pushed back) i remember in mvc2 he couldnt combo alot do to most of his attacks pushing p2 back so he could only rely on lk or lp into launcher. his aerial needs a little work to it as far as smooth animations in his basic moves. i do like how u have to time it just right to combo with him. thats different from alot of other EOH characters that combo too much the same. after he does both air hypers hes still able to attack before he hit the ground. but that maybe something that should stay...after all that could be a defensive thing and ryu is known for his defense. his shin shoryuken should be more mvc2 like meaning if he does it in the opening he should do the hp dragon punch for his miss animation (including block) but his hit animation should be the same of course. also keep in mind that the shin shoryuken only activates its hit animation when ryu is on the ground so lets say if p2 jumps and gets hit while ryu is the air in dragon punch animation then it would hit as a normal hp dragon punch and probably would hurt a little more. oh and when he does his hurricane kick hyper in air he makes a weird sound at the same time as him announcing the move
