I dont think any of them are. Offspring at one time, but those days are long gone.
Try the Misfits, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, the Ramones, Dead Milkmen, the Exploited, Dropkick Murphys, thats punk :-??

Lords of Punk? /:O More like the Jesters of Pop-Rock.
Dont get me wrong, I like some songs of the Offspring and Green Day, but they are not punk.

I agree with what the two guys above me said. You should replace your choices with The Misfits, The Stooges, and Black Flag...or something. :(|)

My sentiments exactly....plus:
Link 80, The Misfits (personal favorite), Op Ivy, Rancid Narcoleptic Youth, Backside, Mustard Plug... now those are real punk bands. I could list more then then we'd start branching into different styles of Punk (Thrash, PunkRock, Garbage/Gutter, Ska/Skank etc)
The choices are all good, just watered down versions of the definition of "Punk"

True, but I gotta admit at one time a couple Bad Religion videos got some attention on MTV, I was worrie BR was following in Green Day, and Rancids footsteps. Luckilly Bad Religion went back to basics

What about sex pistols? :-"
-
none o'em, they're just happy-pop-punk

I am a very strong supporter to Green Day as a punk band and also applaud them for being able to soften it up as well. The younger Green Day did all their own self touring and was pretty hardcore punk. It's only after they signed to a label and grunge/alternative took off that every started to label them as fakes and the punk underground as a whole disowned them.
Obviously it's a different kind of punk than the Sex Pistols but that's just what happens as decades pass.
As for Offspring, either the songs sound the same or it sounds like someone else's song like half the tracks on Americana.
