Don't worry about not being on that day (this only applys to those who have jobs and work that day and wont be able to be on until later) as long as you are signed up for the tournament you will get your chance to play. If a lot of problems stir up meaning people not being able to play then we can just have it as though who can play on that day play while others play on a different day. Also another thing we will do to make it fair for who fights who is after the final bracket(s) have been made every one will choose a certain number for example, 1 through 11 or however many people are on the brackets. That way it will be easier and more fair plus we can make it odds with odds and evens with evens ok. So just post what number you want and you will be group with odds if you chose an odd number or evens if you chose an even number.

no akuma is able to be used. No gouken or seth. Due to seth being ultra cheap and gouken having an infinite. Trust me when i say seth is god tier when used the right way and so is gouken.
Gouken has an infinite?! Hopefully Capcom is aware...

I agree that really good players could make him deadly, I mean thats what SF4 is about, but im saying you would also have to be careful. Low damage and big stun can equal a world of hurt

That means this is the last few days to get some practice matches in with other participants, practice with the myriad of Kens online, and most importantly GET THE WORD OUT to other forums and people you know outside of the internet. (Yes, I know it's scary outside the net, but please do try lol)
The rules will be posted a few days from now when Gaijin posts them or whatever.
And it's great to know some of you guys can record your matches. I don't have the game myself (yet), so I'm pretty stoked to see how you guys play. :)

You may need to update your router. I had the same problem with the Wii and XBL until I updated it.

im done with sf4 online today, I challenged 17 ppl and they were all ken and ryu's and akumas, Is that what everyone plays with, there are ways around fireball spammers and SRK wake up attacks, come on ppl, make the fight entertaining. Bad enough they chose a shoto, I instantly lost respect for my opponent. not to mention I defeated them because I already knew what they were going to do when picking those characters.
This is starting to become worse than mugen......

Other than that, my friends keep telling me about all the Ken's he's played online. He said the ones that use their headsets are worse. lol

If you lose once, you go to the losers bracket. Lose twice, then you're out of the tourney.
Since there's not a lot of people in each system tourney, this works out nicely lol.

I dont think its bad to spam projectiles as long as thats not your only skill, no what I mean

Honestly, this tournament needs to be reworked.I agree, I think the start time should be later, for those who work to be able to make and incase someone has a prior engagement. I still think Sunday is the best day to do this but maybe like Syn said, maybe meet at the chat, make sure everyone is ready and stuff like that

Oh yeah not to mention, dont let both bars be full, they will perform a regular SGS and if they miss, the will perform the ultra version behind it. It look so broken and no talent ppl online abuses that.

Tell me I didn't just read that.u make it seem like im a shoto abuser.....i dont even play akuma or shotos period. i just know how to use him and i know how to beat him. i use everyone in the game. fei is my fave but i need to work on him slightly. i play with gen mostly as i have to remaster him again in this game but i also play rose. the projectile characters are not cheap. if anything they are at a disadvantage. a well-timed jump can make them or break them. you said theres no other trat.....but there is.

Im not sure if this has been discussed but is there like a limit for the time to have to wait to play someone, say the tourney started on Sunday and my opponent doesnt show up, when the new bracket is gonna start, the person I was suppose to play gets disqualified and I take the win right?Correct when the new brackets are made and your opponent did show before then then you automatically get a by(you win) and they go straight to loser's bracket ;)
