U R ALL NOOBS :DxDie Yeah the game is out and i dont support T sh@t and D Beach. How would a harmless petition ruin Street Fighter 4 for asking about T.Hawk and Dee Jay...? <_<
Anyways any character can still make it into the game duh =P~o.O# Downloadable content o.O#
So run wit yo lil petition i just hope it doesn't ruin a good game
These characters are worth less and if by any chance they made it it may ruin the game 8=|

An interview with Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono from a recent Famitsu blog reveals that both T. Hawk and Dee Jay have already been developed into to pre-texturing 3D models. For T. Hawk, the developers even went so far as to come up with plans for how the he would fight in SF IV. "If there's demand from users, we're ready to revive them at any point." said Ono.
Famitsu asked Ono to explain how they decided which characters would make it into the home versions of SF IV. The selection process, he explained, was by a vote conducted in America. The voting was done with "light" users and "core" users alike. Characters like Cammy and Fei Long were in the top ranks of the light users. Rose and Gen were tops with the core users.
Ono added that those who stick with SF IV for a long time could see some "nice announcements." Famitsu asked if this means that players can look forward to a SF IV Dash ("Dash" is the Japanese version of Championship Edition). Ono responded: "I'd truly like to personally do this! Of course, demand from users is required. So please show your support!"
Edit: We should petition for TERRY BOGARD! Lol. Seriously though....... we should. <_<
I signed, though T Hawk has already been made and ready, they just didnt put him in. So yeah.
I just wish i could play sf4 lol.

Actually I can't stand Dudley. He's such a wannabe Balrog, it's like how they replaced Guile with Remy.
In fact, I don't really like any of the new SF3 characters.
Personally I like SF4 the way it is. I voted Cammy on the poll that they had up, and she won the poll. The only characters I'd have to say that I'd really want from other SF games would be Rainbow Mika, and Karin from SFA3.
The rest... I don't care. I don't mind T.Hawk and Deejay though. The more ssf2T chars the merrier.
I'm just glad Cammy made it in.

R. Mika? Really, people? Of all the Alpha characters we could have in the game, yet ANOTHER goofy prowrestler?
We could have Guy, Cody, Rolento, and Sodom instead. Yeah, they're all Final Fight characters but that series should've been represented more in SFIV. It should've at the very least had Guy
these four new characters are A WASTE OF SPACE...anything but rufus and el fuerte is better than rufus and ele fuerte.
you're insane. abel is fantastic,
R. Mika? Really, people? Of all the Alpha characters we could have in the game, yet ANOTHER goofy prowrestler?
I think maybe they could have putten in some from steeet fighter ex 2. Like Skullomania, Pullum, Blair Dame, Hokuto or even Kairi....
Im with you on that. Its very irritating that so many characters have the same way of fighting. even though they have something unlike. Sakura, Dan, Akuma, Gouken, Ryu and Ken. they all almost play the same way.
you'd be surprised, actually. Dan seems to have to be played very defensively, with all of his moves having a kind of "rock paper scissors" thing going on, where he has to coutner people who commit to attacks. sakura has shoto moves that don't behave like shoto moves. ryu and ken are like coke and pepsi, with akuma being vanilla pepsi.
gouken seems to have shoto moves, but can't be played like a shoto, because all of his moves have weird behaviors (vertical hurricane kick, delayable fireballs). kinda like how you can't play wolf like fox if you want to be sucessful.
my only two real gripes with the roster are that there are no street fighter 3 people, and that c. viper exists.

I'd have liked to see dee jay in here though, just because he'd lend himself well to the cartoonish feel and goofy facial expressions. I could only imagine his reaction to an ultra combo.

R. Mika? Really, people? Of all the Alpha characters we could have in the game, yet ANOTHER goofy prowrestler?Actually, El Fuerte plays like a mixture between Guy, Mika, and Maki. But I don't think he's as good as any of the originals. And yes, I also believe Capcom should have tapped into their vast resource of wrestlers (Saturday Night Slam Masters) if they wanted to bring in a wrestler. Honestly, El Fuerte should have been El Stingray or The Great Oni. Heck, his moves would have been a heck of a lot better.

SF4 really needs SF3 characters...Yes Yes Yes
on seconds thoughts we need EVIL RYU!!!!!!
EX characters aren't canon and I don't think they're owned by Capcom. Capcom would have to get some permission from Arika.
Since we're talking about canon, as far as I'm concerned, these new characters will never be canon... :-??
Does that make gouken Dr. Pepper? lol
^^(PM)^
Missing chars is one of many problems with SF4, but that's for another topic. Actually, El Fuerte plays like a mixture between Guy, Mika, and Maki. Capcom didn't include Deejay or T. Hawk because of polls. NOTHING TO DO with the expanding saga of the Street Fighter universe. ALL TO DO with selling out to as many consumers as possible.
U know techniclly evil ryu doesnt exist :-"
need me 2 explain ^-^
why not? they're made by capcom, they're in an official street fighter game that's not a side story or remake. If anything, I'd say a guy like Twelve or Cammy would be less canonical, considering they were put in an expansion of a game, as opposed to a legitimate numebred sequel.well i believe super turbo is the only canon game from the SF2 series and the same goes for 3rd strike out of 3's so those "expansions" are technically the law concerning canon and capcom doesnt own the ex chars There owned by Arika.
yall might as well send this thread to the dump.
Why, just cuz you dont like the characters? Thats not a good reasion to dump it.No, because the game is out and this is a waste of time and space.
No, because the game is out and this is a waste of time and space.
ok explain please
One can say Evil Ryu doesnt exist simply cuz he never been seen. In all his appearnces it allways been a what if. The Dark energy or Hado or what ever you want to call the evil force thats does exist. Akuma uses this energy. With Ryu he fights his inner demon so as to not lose control of himself. Which Ryu has never done. He has all ways manage to stay in control. Ryu's fighting code doenst allow him to kill and for this reason is one of the main reason he want let the darkness take over. He know of it muderous intent, or better said nature. Not only has he seen it in Akuma and felt it from him , he's felt this within him self. so its a inner struggle to suppress the dark Hado.
street fighter alpha..

that didn't answer anything that I brought up.u were talking about how u thought ex chars were more canon than cammy and twelve and i was just stating that the iterations of street fighter in which they were in were actually the SF2 and SF3 canon and that EX chars arent even capcom owned i mean i would quote what you said again but that would be beating a dead horse

anyways so do you guys think capcom will go the dlc route or release a whole new disk if they update the roster cuz personally while dlc would make sense didnt capcom release lost planet like 3 times
