His super portrait has a color issue. I tried changing it but when I do, the portrait is all pink. I tried unchecking the share palette box and still no good. someone had me change some things in the Super.ST file and still nothing.
Anyone know how to fix this problem?
-
maybe activate transparently?
in fighter factory?
-
I tried using both FF and MCM, changing multiple options, and still no good. I was wondering if anyone had this character and have the same problem. The pic he came with was messed up and when I try to fix it it's still messed up.
-
can you post a picture of how storm looks like please?
-
well I'm not good at taking pics for some reason, but you have a copy of my storm, just do a super and look at the super portrait. It's al discolored, and when you erase it and add another, the image is pink, no matter what options you choose
-
you mean like this?

mine looks nothing like that, it looks all purple and pink and discolored. Maybe i need to try and get a pic. How do I take a pic of my desktop using ms paint?

use F12 to get an pic of the hyper portrait in mugen.
-
when I take the pic, where is it saved to?
-
just go into ms paint and hit ctrl v it will paste it or hit edit paste. it saves it to your clipboard.
-

folder where your mugen is in....

it seems that it saves them as pcx, this is getting more and more ridiculous. I should have learned this a while ago. I have to add them to fighter factory then save them as a bitmap image

it's all messed up, and I've seen it like this in some user videos as well
-
yea that is messed up.....
-
that looks to be a pal issue, the problem is i have no idea how to sort it.
-
Ask Sena for help on this. He is the one who helped me fix my portrait.

That is how XCB coded the hyper portrait, in order for it to work you have to add an ownpal code to the super.st with a brand new hyper portrait, but sadly, I forgot how to, researching it now.
I will give you one of my old hyper portraits.

this is the code that messes your portrait up
;[State 2601, Fade In]
;type = PalFX
;trigger1 = time = [12,50]
;add = 255,0,0
;invertall = 1
;color = 0
;time = 5
255,0,0 is way too much red color
try 128,128,128 perhaps?
its located at the super.st btw

This is what my Silent Storm has in his super.st
[State 2601, Fade In]
type = AllPalFX
trigger1 = !time
mul =600,600,600
invertall = 1
time = 2
; Super flash
[Statedef 9999]
type = S
ctrl = 0
anim = 9997
velset = 0,0
sprpriority = 4
[State 192, 2]
type = PlaySnd
trigger1 = time = 0
value = 20, 0
volume = 0
[State 3510, 4]
type = explod
trigger1 = time =0
anim = 8500
pos = 0,0
postype = back
sprpriority = -2
supermove = 1
bindtime = 15
removetime = 50
vel = -0.2,0
scale = 2.2,2.2
ID = 9999
I have no idea on what to change, I tried changing the "600" but it didn't work. why am I having so much trouble with this???
-
Toph send me the silent storm and i will fix it for you.
-
in stead of mul (which multiplies i think)
use add
try add = 0,0,128
for a blue-ish effect i guess

I tried using that other portrait, but it made everything pink, opposed to the pink and purple I got on the other super portrait
