Wow that stuff looks amazing.
Just imagine how much safter that will make people.
Its going to be amazing when it can be used for more pratical apps.
And it looks like its already starting to happen.

Hopefully all the uses for reducing pollution pan out

I did an image search on that stuff and its kinda errie... Reminds me of energon cubes from Ol' School Transformers.

man thats amazing were gettin advanced i dont know if u guys remember but a couple of months ago they learned how to cloak ppl and make them turn invisible yes and there is video footage of it
-
Yeah I saw a big write up on that in Discovery magazine with a hot japanese girl standing behind a square of that cloak material. It was kinda like she had the predator cloaking from her shoulders to kneez.

umm yeaaa :-"

I was reading up about that aerogel stuff, and apparently when it breaks... it has properties in common with asbestos. Kinda gotta wonder what, if any, health risks are involved with it. I guess it also has to be handled with gloves because its so absorbant that it makes your skin extremely dry and brittle after prolonged contact. As for the invisible cloth.. I wonder how much the militaries been pouring into that research.

My thought: The 1st thing will make the suit strong. And withstand hard whether. Then you would be invisible too! Now imagine a WAR of that. So many deaths because of the massive power ~X( .

Let's hope with the domestication of aero-gel comes a new line of hair gel that doesn't make your hair as sticky as all heck. I'd like to have a clean hairstyle that feels good.
