I hate metal(no offence) it gives me a headache. The only rock band I like is Linkin Park. Now I mostly listen to trance and some techno(no i am not gay i know some of you might think that cuz most people think that if you listen to techno your gay)

No Scar... today's rap is garbage. It wasn't always about money and hos. Back in the 90's rap had a meaning. people rapped because it was fun. Now people rap because it's the quickest way to get rich and god knows kids these days will listen to anything.

Dont get me wrong if im in my friends car and he likes rap then hell i for the most part am ok with it.
Its just that its not my cup of tea.
Now as for Trance and Techno, dude that crap is fun as hell.
The base, the quick as beats that hit you out of nowhere.
I like it when they play that one song that just takes your mind to another lever hence the word TRANCE.

Anyways, I love me some 2Pac. Best hip-hop artist to ever live. Only if he was still around we wouldn't have this rap we have today. Very rarely I get to hear any real hip-hop like Talib Kweli or Mos Def on the radio. I have to hear Lil' Wayne crap, dude can't rap so he should just give it up. I barely even hear NaS on the radio, like what the hell?
I'm not big into today's rock, it doesn't appeal to me much. Linkin Park is my favorite band, but that's it (besides What I've Done, their new album sucked). When I do listen to rock, it's classics like AC/DC. Very rarely i'll like a more recent rock song.
But yeah, my iTunes is 90-95% Hip Hop filled, with the other 5-10% being R&B and Rock.

It's just really a majority of rap talk about the same thing, sex, drugs, murder, thievery, don't get me wrong, there are some good songs, it's just the good songs in rap are a really tiny minority.
The race has nothing to do with it.
People say white people are better at rock songs then rap.
Same goes for black.
I mean Jimmie Hendrix was a really good rock star for his time.
Here's one of my favorite rock bands, some people refer to that genre of metal reggae-metal :-\.
