I noticed faster loading times too. A little hotter than usual but I can take more heat for more space. I was using a 60GB HDD before.

does your PS3 have an external fan? it really helps so much, i can't recommend it enough
Nope. I don't need it as I don't use something intensive such as folding@home.

I got about 16 demos on my system. That is is not including Gran Turismo HD as its considered a "full" game as it was canceled and left on the PSN store as a free "full" game.
I got 354 songs on my ps3 also.
