Title: Ryu - SF 1 - MvC style

Progress   : 65%

A project i'm working on to change Street Fighter 1 Ryu into a MvC style Ryu - There wasn't a whole lot of animations to work from so I have taken some liberties and added to what was already there - I liked the way Scar's Ryu played so i'm ussing his version as a base (permission given) & ussing sprites from Falchion22 (permission given) - In SF 1 Ryu's energy was yellow so that's the color all his energy will be with a dash of electricity in it - As far as super & hyper moves go expect him to have everything that the normal MvC2 Ryu has @-)

I never was a follower of Street Figther 1 and it's chars. In fact, as a kid, I never even known SF1 existed - i though the developers just wanted to start their franchaze with SF2 and on. So now, when i see SF1 sprites, I really don't hold my breathe over them, but i got to admit, I like where this is going from teh video you provided, tho I'm a little stumped on the whole "Quarter" intro thing, unless is relavent to the countless quarters dropped while playing Street Fighter, in which case - I think i understand  :-??

Overall tho, I like it, and hope you'll bring us more of this project as it progresses.  %%- %%-

yeah, me neither. i only knew about street fighter 2, but now i know why it was called 2
