Title: Help with MAME Plus

I just got a hold of the mame version for the MVC Tourney that Dante909 hosts,and i was wondering:is there any way to change the controls or adjust the joystick to work like the arcade?because due to my button layout,the punches and kicks are in a very weird position compared to how i`m used to play(even with joystick is like that)

It sucks that noone uses mame anymore. I would love to whoop someone at MVC
