Title: Ok no more show and tell. :P
Post by: ClubSyN-X-TReME on July 14, 2008, 01:25:55 PM
Ok here is something generic i came up with as far as tis ranking mode and feature system ill implement in the survival mode.
The idea is this,

Rounds 1-9 will be regular survival battles until you get to round 10, round ten will be the first ranking battle mode and a chance for a promotion. from then on every five rounds will be a ranking match for a promotion to a higher rank. As a bonus for making it to the ranking battles, I will allow your life to be restored to full when competing for the new title for the first ranking battle since you had to go through 10 rounds for the first one, each additional, ranking battle afterwards I will allow 50 to 75 percent of your life to be restored if below 50 percent.

After successfully winning the ranking/promotion match, as a reward, ill allow various things to happen the following round which might be to your advantage. The below image is just an example,

In this selection you have your choice of your attack being increased, defense increased, the enemy's life reduced by a certain amount, the enemy's defense lowered.

I will have more options that will be randomly available as well as sporting your new rank as well in a tekken V fashion.

Note, the ranking battles for a promotion, the enemy will have an advantage chosen at random. Increased defense, attacks for now. This is not a full game so there are some restrictions that applies, I can't break all of the rules now :P

Anyway this is just a heads up on what I am currently doing with the screenpack.

We need more various modes such as these for mugen.  Where you are awarded for gameplay. Gives you an incentive for playing.
