Title: Toxin's Lair
Post by: Toxin on July 03, 2008, 06:07:11 PM: I hope this is the right place for this. :-?? Hi, I'm new posting here but I have checked out your guys stuff from time to time. I do know some of you already though. I have been working on and off on this animation and this is something I have always wanted to do ever since I began to sprite. I made a morphing Toxin which a added to a new sig I made. NO I am not working on a Toxin WIP. The little tendril alone would drive me crazy. I made a morphing and demorphing sig for your enjoyment. I did custome lots of the sprites. I started up with this

then moved to a different base. I almost thrashed this base but I think it actually worked.  For some reason the sig blurs when I upload the sprites into my easy gif animator.  Let me know what you guys think. Please leave C+C's. I will post some other sprites later.

oh im not workin on any at the moment. i thought it would be cool to add that animation to an existing spiderman or venom cuz your sprites look awesome as heck :P

I frankensprited the body and did the chest and ribs by hand but you can hardly even see them after the spider. :spidey:

Thats some good -ish right there man, excellent detailing. I actually did a Anti-Venom myself not too long ago, using the Skeleton guy from Darkstalkers as a base, and right before I finished it, I saved it as a JPEG like a dummy and closed the program so there was no undo...

@ SpiderMew. The best carnage edit I have ever seen I think was from this guy called robtsdempsey. Although Wolf Warrior, Deajo2000, and Taskmaster have some really awesome looking ones too. You can see them at the Spritedatabase at MTO. I forgot to mention that the idea on how to make the black all over his body was inspired after seeing Deanjo's work.

@Apoc. Dang, bro that stinks. I've done that so many times too but it's been a while. Now I save most of my work as bits automatically. It's become second nature like changing the gear on a stick. So, are you going to redo it. It looks pretty cool.

I agree best Carnage i have ever seen . There is no better , Toxin is tha man whenit comes to symbiotes .

@spooky77 Nah, I don't think I will be doing that Toxin as a WIP. Those little tendrils drive me nuts. They take forever to edit. Unless I made them a lot simple I would consider it.

As for the Venom/Gargan contest, If your symbiote crazy like me, I invite you guys to participate. We had at least three ideas for both of the moves up for grabs but we thought it would be a lot more fun having a contest for them. Check out our thread at MTO. There is a vid there to if you are interested.

@MugenMaster44. Useless, and I are spriting Venom Mac Gargan and the Infamous "Apoc" is helping us code. There is a thread here at Infinity which has our latest video but to see most of the stuff we have posted you will have to look at MTO. Although, we have changed a lot of the stuff around. I think that some of my best spriting has been poured into that character. ;)

There is none . The character doesn't exist for mugen yet
