First post (since the down).
First to all the mods on the forum:
I am sorry for making an butt out of myself on the old forum, I thought my character request was within the rules (and I even bragged about having read them before I made the request). I will try to not repeat this kind of mishap ;)
Anyway back to my topic.
I have been “in to” mugen for about six months now, collecting chars, playing, reading on forums and I’m even thinking of starting creating chars of my own in the near future (maybe).
Its fun, I really like mugen but I would like to know what you the community thinks of mugen and especially if you have a specific goal with your “mugening”
Personally I am a great marvel and Capcom fan and my wish/dream or goal is simple, I want a mugen with a roster consisting of every one of capcoms MvC characters and with playability as close to the original as possible with the difference of the control being six-button style, and without the extremely awful MvC2 rainbow like effects and hyper backgrounds. The characters could instead use the XvSF effects and hyperbackgrounds which I like better ;)
Of course I would welcome original creations to my mugen roster as long as they are of high quality in both sprites and coding. I mean just look at chars like Thor and Sandman by Loganir, they are perfect! And of course I would like more original chars of that standard in my roster, but also edits of chars with new hypers and etc.
You could say that my wish is for mugen to become the game I wished MvC2 had been instead of the huge disappointment I think it to be.
Man this almost sounded like a request :P but anyway you get the point right, so tell me what’s your mugen dream or goal?

He doesn't have to make anything to be able to criticise. It's easy to spot a char that sucks.

Most of my local friends have moved onto the more current consoles and I have always been a SF fan at heart. When I found out about MUGEN 8-} that was me. So, more or less, Im doing this to get that same old circle of friends back into the old habit of playing fighting games in for the comradery and competition of it. Whether 2 or 8, we used to sit and pass around the controls :-$ amongst other things :-$ and play for hours. Good times. I guess Im trying to relive as well, who knows. But ive told/shown a few of them and they are just waiting with anticipation for a chance to get their hands on it. Too lazy to do their own though....bastards :DxDie

The only thing i want from mugen is to have no error, ah, i hate the annoying crashes, i'll be using the linux version until the window version is perfect.

Once I've perfected stage making, as in working with multiple layers, and animated layers, then I'll move on to character making. I have the spriting down, just, nothing else. XD

Best way to learn is to go out there and try. There are vids on youtube that will help you get started

Also, if i can and could, my mugen goal may be just to create voice packs for certain characters, heck, if I were able to sharpen my own voice acting ability, i would create a voice pack from me..
