mine would be acey's arthur /:O
for these reasons:
-Acey had what 15 sprites to work with
-i always wanted him on mvc2
-i love the ghost and gouls game
-i love the capcom design of him and acey managed to stick to this design so perfectly
honourable mentions go to: The Thing by Warner, Sandman and Thor by Loganir and Beast by Acey.

Well I guess if your saying custom capcom, but saying Thing is included, that could apply to any Capcom esque character, so I gotta say Thor, or Sandman, or Ghost Rider.
i actually said marvel or capcom :P

But overall, I think Deadpool is the best-crafted Marvel character to date (although the competition is fierce). The amount of detail, polish, and style in this character put him on top for me. Wucash and Loganir's creations aren't far behind.
From a gameplay standpoint, I'd go with Vyn's Evil Ryu. He's just so much damn fun to use, but still rewards skill when playing as him.

Arthur and Firebrand are both awesome, and so is Acey's Beast.

I think Wuccash is one of deadpools coders. While I admit I really dont admire the attitude, and philosophy of those guys, they do very good work.

Thor & Sandman
When I first seen Thor . My friend told me he was made by one of the creators of MVC3 . He got so mad that Capcom wasn't going to release the game that he just released the character for this engine . I believed it for awhile .
Loganir is that good . He could've made characters for Capcom back in the days of these 2d fighters . No one can create like Loganir . Capcom themselves can barely create characters as good as Loganir .
