The Anvil has offered to help so Lou can have a on screen helper Siva. He also made/converted some of the other characters in the game for various winposes and intros.
Siva is Lou's partner and will remain on screen on screen at all times, just like Megaman and Rush.
Lou will also have three floating helpers that come from chests which will be ran in from the side of the screen. The three floating helpers are pictured below.

You will be by the time we have finished. Lou will be one of few characters that has a background character that is as cool as he is. Plus wait till you see the Lou dash we have done ;). Im very pleased with it :)
Plus with the added helpers Firestorm, Chilly and Corkscrew, at your call, will throw another element. Hopefully when you play as Lou you will get a 3 wonders/ Midnight warriors feel.

i personally almost prefer siva to lou 8-} he looks more hobbit like to me. siva is lous companion and they have to save princess sena who was turned into wood (along with all the other hobbits in their village) by some kind of weird moon/planet guy who cried when you hurt him and im prety sure his breathe wasnt too savoury.
i would so love a new midnight warriors game.

I thought i would elaborate more on these also, the glider is going to be hyper (playing similarly to megamans bird hyper) with siva having his own glider aswell and following lou around (which has been sprited), its part of one sprite and that one sprite took me about 4 hours to do, and was very frustrating lol.
so far, between us we have done alot of work and laspacho has done some fantastic sprites, i'm real excited to see him finished, can't wait to see siva in the background :D

That's great about Lou, man. Would it be alright if I was more excited about seeing Fire Man in-game.? He looks bad @ss, hope this is a hint that you or someone else is working on him. :thumbsup:
I found that I like to have a main wip, and a secondary wip on the back burner to work with on the side.
Since Lou's sprites are now done, Airman moves up to first priority, and I have a new secondary wip. :thumbsup:
I am also helping O Ilusionista and Akito-sama with Elecman sprites in my spare time too.... ;D

I am in major need of some help with some custom voices and sounds for Lou. A few lines of dialog, sounds for when he attacks, and gets hit, ect.
If you haven't played Three Wonders here is a link so you can try it out and get a feel for Lou. The custom voices and sounds don't need to be exact but something similar at least.
If your contribution is used I will happily share a Beta with you when it's ready so you can play him before his release. (And you can also let me know of any bugs too. hehe)
Who knows... maybe a female throwing her voice might work too...

Lou is currently being coded. I will post a video in the next couple days showing off what has been coded so far.I think he's sounds like a teenager so probably a female or a witted male voice should do the trick.
I am in major need of some help with some custom voices and sounds for Lou. A few lines of dialog, sounds for when he attacks, and gets hit, ect.
If you haven't played Three Wonders here is a link so you can try it out and get a feel for Lou. The custom voices and sounds don't need to be exact but something similar at least.
If your contribution is used I will happily share a Beta with you when it's ready so you can play him before his release. (And you can also let me know of any bugs too. hehe)
Who knows... maybe a female throwing her voice might work too...

There is Much more to add this is just the start. More Intro's, winposes, specials, hypers, helpers, weapons. Siva will also be on screen like Megaman and Rush. Stay tuned. ;D
These are the current two winposes. In the video Lou winks at you then gives the piece sign but you can't see it because of his screen position.

I was sitting here trying to think of some things but that was all I came up with. Suggestions from anyone are welcome. ;D
I didn't even think to give siva a voice that would be neat too for when he attacks or in a winpose.

I was thinking Lou could say "SIVA" when they attack together, and he can also say "YEAH" when he taunts (kinda like how iceman says it).

If you can think of other things to say go for it. Remember we also need some sound effect for getting hit and punching, ect. ;)

Was Devilot the girl in red with the big gun? If so she made it into TvsCapcom as a playable hidden character. Lots of ideas to use for ideas from that game for her.

No, the girl with the red gun is Saki. Devilot is the blondgirl with a think a wedding dress and i dont know how to explain her lol so heres a pic:

I checked out his game a while back he has a few sounds ripped from the actual three wonders game. There were not many and not enough for a MVC styled character. I did however ripped those few already. ::salute::
I don't think he ripped the weapon sounds. That would be cool if someone ripped those for me. :thumbsup:

As you can see Siva now follows Lou around, jumps, and can attack on command. He can get hit. And he also interacts with Lou's intro's and Winposes.

hehe, nice. you could put a homing boomerang , that could fits nicelly on the char. I have the code all done here, if you want.
