the first movie was ok but this one seems to be up there with the show and I loved the show sooooooooo much

from the tv series, the intro shows him coming down to earth from a light. Is that showing that he's an alien? or is it showing that he was adducted by alien and they put him back to earth because he's too stupid to be experiment with? lol.

I'll be watching the movie for sure, the trailer seems hilarious.
